Good morning! I’m sure by now many of you have already been to this new month’s round of FaMESHed.  I used to be you or like you in this regard. I was always eager to be one of the first to enter an event.  I’ve since calmed down. Mainly, because getting into an event when its doors first open is just hard and it’s always too much lag and I end up crashing. That alone takes all the fun out of it.  Now I wait and in many ways its been a good decision.

Though if you’re one of the first to get in you get to see all the wonderful and beautiful designs on offer.  Ariskea and Trompe Loeil are both participating this month, so make sure you check the credits below. Pink dreams

Hello everyone.  I hope this post finds you all doing great and as for me I’m extremely very thankful for the good health report that I received today.  It’s made my day and gives me a sense of normalcy even if I’m not quite ready to do flips or run a marathon.  It’s a bit of wishful thinking as I’m more than sure I would be falling all over myself if I had tried doing either prior to having surgery almost two weeks ago.

Recovery has been slow.. way too slow. I’m more than a bit impatient as family and friends would attest to. This assessment is my own rather than my doctor who said I should give myself 4-6 weeks of recovery time and it’s just a day under 2 weeks.  I certainly don’t want to wait that long, but my body may continue to say otherwise and I’m forced to listen.  Either that or reap the consequences.  This means that I will still have to take things fairly slow until then. It’s of little consequence in comparison to how much worse it could have been and for that I’m beyond thankful and feeling very blessed for the great outcome I received.

In the meantime since I’m now able to get around and sit for periods of time I have decided to return to blogging sooner than previously stated. It will be at a slower pace, so that means not at my usual full speed everyday posting regime.

Since we have a couple days left before The Season’s Story ends I thought it be only fair to get another post in showcasing some awesome decor you can find there.  If you haven’t been or gotten everything you wanted, now is the time to rush there.  Otherwise, I’m also showing stuff by unKindness at the Epiphany and decor from creators participating in the just opened Blush Event.

The heartbeat of a home

Now I am always excited when I get new items to blog, because it is part of the fun in the creative process of figuring out how to showcase it in a picture.  When I received this new home by Llorisen, the design is what captured my attention. It’s different than the norm and I really liked its simplicity and understated elegance. The Mulvaney Cabin is available at FaMESHed and has a land impact impact of 42 with curtains and 36 without. I packed a lot into it, and my apologies that in my rush I did not take additional photos as I was focused on the house and the outside seating area.

The chairs and coffee table with some extra pieces of tray, rug and lantern make up the Jolene Set by MudHoney, which were part of the subscriber box for September Deco(c)rate.  You can still grab these goodies, though you will have to pay a slightly higher price.  More information can be found at their web site.  While I’m featuring also the bedroom furniture on the top floor, it is going to be covered in a different post with some changes in the decor, though it has been listed as it is shown in the pictures.

The city never sleeps

Showcasing lots here starting with a new release by Galland Homes. The Mount Washington skybox features a living room with a working fireplace, a bedroom that looks out to five city scenes. It also has a bathroom and extra space for a seating area or whatever use you may have for it.  It is 21 m. x 21 m. with a land impact of 27 and available now at the newest round of The Chapter Four.

I’m also featuring a new bed by Hive, which is currently available at Collabor88 in both a pg and adult version.  It is a 12 land impact.

I’m wearing a new hairstyle by Pr!tty called Sunny, which I absolutely like a lot. It’s available at The Gacha Garden. I’m going to link you to the designers Flickr, where she explains all about her gacha.  The lingerie I’m wearing is a new main-store release by Empire, called Ineffable and I’ve listed all the pieces that are available down in credits.  As always comes with a color hud that gives you plenty of options.

The last item being featured is the Learning Stuff Gacha by Dilly Dolls at The Gacha Garden.  The whole work station including the chair I’m sitting on is part of the gacha as well as the laptop on the bed.  I’m not using all the pieces of the gacha, so have a look here for all the pieces included.
