When I finished processing my photo and leaned back in my chair to take a look at it to come up with a title all I could think of was what is she trying to convince her of.  Sort of lead me into reflection on how often we talk to ourselves inside our head. Well I know that I do when I’m wading through muddled thoughts and reasoning out things. Or sometimes arguing with that little voice in our heads that can lead you up or down depending on your own disposition.

Anyways, that’s a bit heavy for a Monday!  Moving on to something much lighter like pointing you to credits to see some of the fashion and decor that I am showcasing today from the Tres Chic Event and other creators that I have the honor of blogging for.

Happy Sunday! My post is very short as I don’t have much time before I have to finish getting ready to leave town until Tuesday.  I will not be posting until my return as I am not taking a laptop for the short duration.

I absolutely love this “Once Upon a Time – Vintage School” gacha set, a newly released set by THOR for this month’s round of Chapter Four. Everything pictured minus the attic building and some stack of books are part of the set. There is a total of 45 items with 18 mini-sets, 3 rare and 1 reward. The rares are the table, chair and the blackboard and they all have animations. My favorite piece is actually the spinning top toy as I have one of these in real life that my eldest sister gave me, because she knows I have a love for old stuff.

The rustic attic is by Pixel Mode and it is another great decor item at this round of The Liaison Collaborative and was just perfect for creating this school setting. It has a land impact of 18 and it has a texture change floor that can be accessed by clicking the door.  Makes for a great one room home as well.

I’m also featuring the items that I am wearing. The hair is a relatively new release by enVOGUE called Giovanna and it’s available at the main store. The dress is another find at the Liaison Collaborative and it’s by Entice and available in several colors.  The Oyster heels/boot type combo are by Empire and are currently at Uber. I can never say enough that I love the concept of paying a slightly higher price for a 12-color Hud that you get when you purchase a pair of shoes from this maker. Plus the ability to mix and match on the different sections of the shoe.

Last item is the pose used, which is part of the “With My Baby” series from K&S Poses. It’s actually a modded version, as the original has the child facing you as you have your hands extended towards him or her. I just didn’t want to be the whole center of attention in this picture so I just un-linked them and turned her around.

Just getting a head start on the weekend

Happy Friday!

Today I am doing a bit of everything from the fashion I’m wearing to the decor I’ve put together.  It’s a long post and I apologize beforehand for not taking more pictures to break it up some. I’m showing a new long hairstyle by eXxEsS called Jaci available on market place and main store.  In case you’re not familiar with her sets; A  has 56 single-tones and B has 56 multi-tones.  The sweater is one of 8 colors available at the Tannenbaum Holiday Market.

The decor is from the Draftsman and Arcade events.  The chair, bench and table are by Shutter Field in collaboration with Decor Junction out now at Draftsman. There are two other tones available in wood and white apart from the rustic being shown. Land impact ranges from 1 to 4 and both the bench and chair have a handful of sit and activity animations. I think 8 or more is considered a handful don’t you think?

The hanging lights and lighted candle on the table are by Hive and are some of the commons in the Home-for-the-Holidays gacha at the Arcade. The adorable husky tangled in lights is by JIAN and it’s one of the rares in the set.  Those yummy bagels on that plate on the table are by Mushilu and were from the recent passed Enchantment event.  They got to me late so was not able to show them previously, but they should be now at the main store.

The remaining decor is the wine/beer set by Onedecor at Draftsman.  I believe that you can purchase the pieces individually or in a full set pack. Also, just to note the wine bottles used on the shelves and also table with wine glass were just unlinked from the wine decor set and used for the scene. Go check out the event it’s ongoing until December 17th.

The scene was created using the Sunrise Beach House by ChiC building, also at Draftsman.  I will be featuring it in a separate post as I didn’t have enough time to get all this done to show it together.

I woke up with a touch of melancholy this morning, which sort of set the tone for the earlier part of my day. I did my best not to wallow in it and thankfully it’s passing quickly and my mood has greatly improved as the day kept moving forward.

Now today I’m showing the Saint Mary Magdalen Church by Ionic, which is available at The Forest.  There is something about this church that really grabs me. It’s well done and will make a lovely addition to any landscape. If you’re not familiar with this event, then be aware that it is a membership paid event where you pay a fee to get the items for that month. Though it was recently announced that you now have the option to buy certain packages where you can pay a certain amount for up to a predetermined number of items. It’s like ten minutes before it strikes midnight and officially the next day and it’s Halloween.  I wanted to get this post in earlier just in case you wanted some last minute party and decor goods, then I’m featuring some cake, drinks and cupcake goodies by Una. These are gacha items and available at Shiny Shabby.

The decor is by Dreamscapes Art Gallery. The chairs, picture and candelabra are items for the Black Widow 2 Hunt that started today. The boo ladder is this month’s group gift, which can be joined for a relatively small fee of $50.  The dog is so cute, and it’s another common dog in the Hallow-Inu gacha set by JIAN at The Epiphany.

I’m also featuring items that I am wearing, starting with the skirt by Reverie, which is at Uber.  The military/chic skirt comes in 8 colors, plus 2 bonus colors on the fatpack and 1 on the smaller packs. The boots that I am wearing are by Empire, and they are also at Uber’s.  They are 100% original mesh, with 20 colors included and you can change parts individually.  It’s fitted mesh for the Belleza Freya, Belleza Venus, Belleza Isis, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, Maitreya, The Mesh Project and also Slink Male.

The last item being featured is the pose that I am using.  I’ve been a big fan of this store for a while as they make some cute poses for you and a little one.  The set I am using this #18 poseis called Katya.  I was able to fix it so that I could lean against the chair and only had to make a slight modification to raise my left knee/foot up. Today I’m featuring stuff by Empire and The Den in collaboration with Ariskea. The shoes are from Empire and available now at the Geeks & Nerds Event. Like with all their shoes the Hydrangea shoes are 100% original mesh and 2o colors are included via a HUD  with the ability to change parts individually.  They are rigged mesh made for the Belleza Freya, Belleza Venus, Belleza Isis, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, Maitreya and The Mesh Project.

The furniture set made up of the couch, chairs along with the chest table and balls decor with the hourglass and clock, lamp, postal frame and letter decor are a collaboration by the creators mentioned.  It’s a lovely set that fits all year long, the sofa is available in both a pg and adult version.
