Just when I thought that there was nothing more for me to show of Fall/Autumn seasonal stuff I get these new decor items that are available at the Trick or Treat Event that runs only until November 1st. It’s an assortment of items, so check out the credits below.

Somehow I missed seeing this in my inventory and found it while I was organizing some of my items in my blogging folder.   I debated in blogging as the event is over in just a couple of days, but it reminds me of so many places in my home state of Florida that it was a given.

If you’ve never experienced an air boat tour, it’s really something to do if you’re in the state and you enjoy wildlife.   If you want gator tail I’m sure there are places scattered throughout where you can find some.  The watermelon season is over, so you have to come back in April when it starts back up again.   Right now in season is tomatoes, orange, grapefruit, squash and cucumber to name a few.

This Waterside Market gacha set by unKindness is available at the Wayward Halloween Event.  The set has 4 rares and 17 commons and you have until October 31st midnight SLT to grab it.

Well it looks like this month is pretty much over now and with it many events are coming to an end.  This also means soon there is an onslaught of new events about to embark and it being October… it also brings Halloween.

Aphrodite Shops has an abundance of items at their Halloween Market if you are into decorating for this occasion.  The animated ghoulish mirror and the scary stories book are just a couple of items you can find.

Then unKindness has a charmed parlor set available currently at Collabor88, that includes the candles, burner, fireplace, mirror and throne chairs.  The latter three items have six color options.  The hanging bats and single bat that can be worn as well is from Dysfunctional Designs.

It’s definitely starting to look like Fall in Second Life with all the orange, yellows and red colors you see around.  I’m featuring a few new items by unKindness to help you decorate for the season.

The County Pumpkin set, which can be found at the Tres Chic event includes the pumpkin seat, pumpkin accessories on the floor and the candle tray on the table. The seat comes with male and female sit animations.

Another item by unKindness is the spooky brigade decor that is leaning up against the wall made for the Autumn Effect Hunt.  You can hunt for it at the main store.

The other item that I am featuring today is the big baggy hoody outfit for the toddleedoo made by BoOgErS for the Kawaii Project.  The big baggy hoody outfit is available in two options.

This is a bit of  the rebellious nature I find myself in shining through in this post as I share with you some more items to be found during this month’s round of events.

Both the fringe suede top and skirt by MoDANNA are mesh and found at two different ongoing events right now.   There are several colors for both items and you will also find other styling pieces as well so that you can tailor fit your style.

The other item that I am featuring today is the workbench by (epia) available at this round of The Men’s Department.  While it has single and couple animations I decided to use a different pose as I wanted to make sure that the clothes were highlighted as well.

Hello everyone!  After a short and much needed break from Second Life and blogging I am back for a while.  During the next few months I will probably be taking a few breaks here and there as I continue to sort out some things in real life and anticipating a move in the near future as well.  In the meantime I am looking forward to once again showing you some of the awesome stuff that can be found on the grid.

Today I am featuring some new decor items by unKindness and Culprit.  The Autumn vanity set by unKindness is currently at FaMESHed and includes the vanity table with mirror, the cushion that has animated and static poses and three choices in wreaths for you to decorate for the Fall season.

Culprit is participating in this round of the Mix with their Wish You Were Here Set. That’s the blue tray that has some delicious goodies like petit cakes and hot chocolate.  The set includes a tray with everything on it as pictured, or if you prefer to use one or more pieces around the house then it also comes with individual items for you to use.   Personally, I love it when a creator gives you those kinds of options.

If you haven’t picked up these cute adorable cuddle bears on the chair, which are a gift by BoOgErS at the Arcade.  You better hurry before the event concludes at the end of the month.

Comical Sin City

A fellow blogger wrote in her recent post that one of her favorite things of being a virtual reality interior designer is that it allowed her to travel to all corners of the globe without leaving her home.  I really liked that statement as it rings true on many fronts.  Check out her blog Hidden Gems in SL.

How about transporting yourself to a comic book city?  Switching from being a human avatar to being a poppet doll in mere seconds.  The endless possibilities is part of the reasons that keeps many of us continually fascinated.

I’m showing the newest set from unKindness, which is now available at the Festival of Sins II Event.  The sin city comic gacha has 1 rare and 9 commons with building pieces varying in impact from 1 to 60.  They all have full physics allowing you to climb all over and even hide in the buildings.  You can find it in the GREED section of the event.

The set reminded me of these poppet  dolls from Wishbringer, which were gacha items purchased at the Fantasy Fair this year.  I thought they were perfect for this city.

Sometimes all you need is a little splash of color

I’ve had computer issues all day and still trying to resolve it.  I was one step close to throwing a major hissy fit and throwing the thing out the window if not for the calming effect of a friend, who provided compassion, guidance and sound judgment when mine went out the door.

As a result, my post will not be very long, but I did want to get this out today to show the latest home decor offerings by a couple of creators.  The retro living room set is by unKindness and is currently available at the Cosmopolitan Event that runs bi-weekly.  Each of the pieces are sold separately or you can grab them all at a discount buy purchasing them as a set.   You will find animations for male, female and couples.

Next, are the mermaid canvas paintings on the wall and the ones leaning against the window by Jian.  These paintings are texture change by the touch of a menu giving you several choices of art to choose from to fit your decor and style.  I went with this particular art as the colors blended well with the retro set and I was wanting to show these items as soon as possible and took advantage of showing them together.  The canvas art can be found at the newest round of Enchantment.

Unkindness 002

There are days and many here lately where I can be driven to drink.  I’m just thankful that I’ve never been inclined to taking a drink to solve my problems.  I’m not much of a drinker at all.  I think I’ve mentioned this before on my blog a time or too.  One glass of wine is enough sometimes to get me tipsy.  Anything beyond that I’m in peril of my own tongue.

Even though it wasn’t planned this way.  Tonight as I write this blog I am disposed to celebrate as I got to reconnect with a certain someone, who continues to be someone important in my life.  I toast to the cherished bond we have. Cheers Italiano!

The luggage trolley I am sitting on is a new creation by unKindness and is currently available at the Love to Decorate Event, that will run from August 10th to August 24th.   It comes in four versions: iron, silver, gold or bronze with custom made poses – two for men, two for women and two for couples. It’s a fun piece in my book.

I also want to share some of the goodies I just recently found.  The Paris penthouse skybox I am using is from Barnesworth Anubis and is currently at Collabor88 for only 88 lindens!  It’s a steal and makes for a fabulous starter home or for anyone who has limited prims to use or lindens.  The other bargain and it really is a bargain! The remaining furniture minus the alcohol are from Apple Fall and can all be purchased for $0 lindens. I was surprised myself to find all these wonderful items for free.  I went to the main store to find a pendent lamp, which is a group gift this month and couldn’t find it and then had to resort to area search. It was during that area search for a $0 linden group gift that I discovered the rest of the furniture. Except, the frame with the flower, which can be found right now at FaMESHed with his items this month.

If you look further you might find some other items at $0 lindens throughout the store and many items have also been reduced as well. Great time to shop at Apple Fall. The bottles and glass are from [kunst] and can be found at the main store.
