SSD for the 21Shoe Event

It is nearing that time again for the new round of the 21Shoe Event where you get two pair of shoes for the price of one from participating creators. One of those creators is Sax Shepherd Designs that will have these two pairs of jeweled stilettos that I’m featuring. The first is the Mata Hari Oyster Satin, which is an exclusive color and style that will never be sold again after the event. It comes with a HUD that can be used to resize and to change the full bright options on and off.

The second pair is the Aphrodite Holiday Edition, which is a new shoe that has yet to be released. This holiday edition offers red, blue and green soles with gold, platinum and black titanium jewelry options. The HUD is very easy to use and will give you several choices in color and diamonds and this holiday edition will only be sold during the holiday season.

These shoes are made to fit with the SLink Avatar Enhancement High feet, so keep that in mind. The other thing is this event is only one day for 24-hours from 12:01 am SLT. I’ve noticed in group chat that many people get confused to where this event is held. All shoes are to be found at the main stores on that day. What’s that rumble?

I was going for the surprised shocked look of a child hearing the rumble coming through the fireplace except that due to a malfunction of sorts the Emoter HUD got stuck on two emotions at the same time and gave me this smile shocked expression instead. This is why I have instead an impatient fearless child that anticipates Santa is about to arrive.

Some of the creators that participated at The Arcade during this round were very generous with their gifts that you can find under the large Christmas tree that sits in the middle of the Arcade. Two of my favorite items were the milk and chocolate milk bottles and the plate of ginger pig cookies, which is just like one of our Mexican pastries that looks exactly the same just a bit thicker. They are called “Marranitos,” which translated means little piggies.

I really enjoyed creating this scene and when I was done it reminded me a little of the cabin that my family rented several years ago in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee to spend one of our Christmas holidays. The long tall windows that gave way to the spectacular panoramic views to the Great Smoky Mountains. The open floor plan that had leather and hide furniture just like these chairs and sofa from Scarlet Creative and a massive fireplace in the living room.

It makes me sigh and long for another vacation like that one where life seemed less complicated and much easier. I probably wouldn’t select Christmas week as the time to go as trying to drive in the heart of town was pretty much bumper to bumper traffic. That’s never fun. Personally, part of the the whole beauty of renting a cabin in the mountains is being able to seclude yourselves without the need to go anywhere that wasn’t within walking distance. It’s a home away from home. You have to be mindful of the wild animals that you could run into if you do take a walk… like black bears and foxes. Plus you have to be comfortable driving up an incline, because that was probably the most tedious part of leaving and returning to the cabin. The steep narrow road we had to travel on had all sorts of twists and turns and could be quite scary, especially if there was ice.

The Men’s Department was a bit different this time around with lots of fun stuff being gacha items like the beer bottle Christmas tree and the poker setup. I did modify some of the poker items by unlinking them for placement.

Just one. I rarely drink anymore at social events because sometimes all it takes is one glass of wine and I start to feel all warm and fuzzy. I’m quite an innocent babe when it comes to drinking and smoking. I have never drank a full beer. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever tried to taste another beer since that one partial taste that was bad enough. I like white wine more so than red and tend to go for fruity ones. I’m an amaretto/7 girl when it comes to anything more beyond wine. I might take a taste of something stronger at say a family gathering, but that’s the extent. Liquor and me just don’t jive. If rolling a piece of paper sack as a cigarette counts as smoking.. then I had my first smoke when I was ten years of age and was being all cool with some neighborhood friends. It must have cured me as I’ve never been inclined to take another try of the real thing. The aura of cigarette smoke is just not very appealing to some of us.. a gentle nudge nudge.
