Party Time!

After a rather sleepless night the previous night where my head didn’t hit the pillow until about 5 am in the morning I was a bit zapped in the energy department last night.  That being said I slacked in doing any blogging stuff after partying at the enVOGUE holiday party.

Like in real life going to a company Christmas party you just never know what to expect.  You just go with the intent of making the best of it.  With hopes the company is not boring, the music is great and the food is yummy.

I wasn’t sure what to expect here other than the gesture from the company CEO to throw a party for the team to get to know each other and just to have fun was admirable enough to attend.

I’m glad that I went as I had a great time unwinding to the music, dancing and getting to meet new people.

 

 

 

Git Yer Grub

Somehow I missed seeing this in my inventory and found it while I was organizing some of my items in my blogging folder.   I debated in blogging as the event is over in just a couple of days, but it reminds me of so many places in my home state of Florida that it was a given.

If you’ve never experienced an air boat tour, it’s really something to do if you’re in the state and you enjoy wildlife.   If you want gator tail I’m sure there are places scattered throughout where you can find some.  The watermelon season is over, so you have to come back in April when it starts back up again.   Right now in season is tomatoes, orange, grapefruit, squash and cucumber to name a few.

The [Den.] has released a new home currently out at Uber.  The South Woods Retreat is low impact, mesh and materials ready, so it is best used with advanced lighting on.

It’s 83 degrees out today in my real world and so this rustic beach type furniture would be like the perfect set up for being outside enjoying the warmth or the evening while using the fire pit to toast marshmallows.

There are several pieces available as I’m only showing a few items.  The pallet chairs come with single and couple animations.  There are two versions of the chest table, a wood and rustic planks as well as two versions of the trays with goodies. I’m showing the one with the chocolate cake.

Another day at home

The Perfect 10 Event is back with a new round on November 5th.  I’m showing a preview of a few things you can find at this event. Dreamland Designs has a living room set that includes a cuddle and a lovers couch.  I guess you can pretty much make out that the lovers couch has adult animations.  There is also a chair that is included in the set, along with the rug, table and book tray.

The other set by this same designer is the fireplace with a few decor items including the antique clock that is not attached.

Even though my inventory  groans every time I add more stuff to it.  I still glance from time to time at hunts that have home decor.  Plus I like showing items that can be found at a reasonable price, especially if you’re on a tight budget and still want to have some new items to refresh your home. The plaid pumpkins under the fireplace are from this cute shop I discovered a while back called The Artist Shed.  The pumpkins are a sponsor gift, so visit the hunt web site as it will show you where these can be found.  The birdcage is a full perm item from Surge for the Antique Grid Show Autumn Hunt.  I’m using the version already textured.  The fabric texture on the walls are from Clutter and is also an item for the Antique Grid Show hunt.   These decor items cost from 1 to 10 lindens and keep in mind they are October hunts, so they will be ending soon.

Gazebo 006

Just a quick post today to show you these two items.  The first is the cedar gazebo by DaD Designs available at The Fantasy Collective.  It’s 100 original mesh and has a land impact of 16.   If you’re a group member of the Fantasy Collective you can pick up gifts at the event by clicking all the pumpkins.  The gift for DaD Designs is a barrel with couple animations.

The other item is the hang out basket seat by Dysfunctional Designs.  It’s only 4 land impact and has texture change options for the wood and for the cushions.

Outdoor 001

There are two events coming our way soon.  The Trick or Treat Event is a very short event and will be held at The Shopping District from October 29 and runs only until November 1st.  I’ll be showing some previews from here to then starting with this midnight cat tattoo by Passion Tattoos.  It comes with most of the known appliers like Omega, Maitreya, Slink Physique, TMP as well as classic tattoo layers. It comes in light, medium and dark ink and I’m wearing the medium ink.

The next event is the second edition of Sad November that begins November 1st and will run until the 21st.   I’m wearing the military style mesh jacket by MoDANNA that will be available in several colors.  Aside from the jacket, there is a skirt, leggings and cardigan also in several colors to choose from.  I hope to show you some in the next few days.
