It’s better than being cooped up inside the house

It’s been a while since I’ve brought the little one out and this weekend past was a lazy kind at my house so I had time to indulge. She’s participating in the PENUMBRA Autumn/Winter 2016 Fashion Week so you’ll see her a little more around the middle of next month.

Today she’s wearing a cute outfit by Buglets that is currently available at Color Me Cute. There are 4 options to choose from and each comes with 2 dress options & a HUD with 12 shirt options.

I’m also showing this cute car by Mushilu that comes adorned with flying leaves and with poses. You can find it at Tres Chic in several colors.

All I want is a good nights rest

Today I come back indoors with some lovely bedroom furniture to show you. This is the room where you dress, sleep, dream and love. I don’t know about you, but it’s a place that I need to be calm and serene as it’s where I go to rest… like that much needed afternoon nap yesterday.

The furniture I’m showcasing today is some of the latest creations by [Tia] and [Noble Creations]. The vanity and the accessories including the rug and screen you see pictured in the picture below are by [Noble Creations] and available at The Secret Affair this month. It runs only until September 29th, afterwards you can find this set at the store.

The bed with mirrors and the round carpet is by [Tia] and it’s a new release at the main store. I love that some creators still do releases at their main store! I wish more of them would do it… makes for an easier shopping experience.

The bed set includes an 8 color texture hud and 3 colors for the metal pieces. It’s got over 110 quality animations that includes sits, slave sits, sleep, cuddles and sex for couples and if you want something a bit more, even threesomes. It rezzes props, like bondage post with chains, gives shackles, collar and whip. Plus it’s easy on the prim count having a land impact of 11 for the bed, 2 for the mirrors and 1 for the carpet.

We’re dining in tonight

First time today I’ve gotten a chance to sit down and think about blogging. I was out of the house around 7 am this morning and just walked in the door less than an hour ago. If I hadn’t just ate something, it might have been the perfect time for an afternoon nap. Alas, not going to happen for me.

Today I am featuring some more fall decor by Aphrodite Shops and JIAN. I hope you took advantage and grabbed this pumpkin collection by JIAN yesterday for Fifty Linden Friday.

If you’re not familiar with this event, it’s every week on Friday, where you will get some amazing home and garden decor, clothes and accessories for only 50 lindens. The link embedded above takes you to the events Flickr page where you can see what’s on offer each week. This pumpkin collection has solo or piled and a few cats included as part of the decor. I just checked the store and they are still available at the discounted price. Just hurry!

I’m also featuring items by Aphrodite Shops. The first is the leaf table and chairs dining room set with everything on the table included. It’s available at the Tres Chic until October 5th. It comes in two versions, beige and brown. The chairs come with animations for male, female and kids. It’s perfect for indoors or outdoors and a great setting for this season!

The second item by Aphrodite Shops is this fall cozy shelter with a bunch of decor that comes with it. The next couple of pictures gives you an inside view of the shelter and everything you can find in it.

Makes for a great little getaway from home. A place just to sneak off for some alone time, read a book or just to relax and do absolutely nothing. I think I’ll go for the latter… and maybe a nap after all.

Welcoming the change in season

The Fall season is my favorite when it comes to weather as it’s always not so hot and muggy here in Florida and just about the right breeze. Though, I don’t get the changing of the leaves as much here in my real world, in Second Life, it’s one of best seasons to take photos due to all the rich colors. I’m in complete awe with some of the amazing photos people are creating that I see come across my Flickr stream. It definitely inspires me to want to go out and explore. I welcome any mention of sims that are worth visiting.

Today I am showcasing a couple of items that I am wearing. The first is a recent new hair release by enVOGUE. The Milly is rigged mesh and is an avant-garde hairstyle that has a classic bun style and pulled to the front in a braided tail. It’s modern and quite chic. This hairstyle is available in 96 colors, root colors and 16 ombre, which are easily accessible through a HUD. It’s available at the main store.

The next item featured today is the Miu shoes by N-Core, which are mesh body compatible {Xtreme Feet, Maitreya, The Mesh Project, Belleza and Slink}. Perfect ankle boots for this season that’s for sure to bring some cool day and nights ahead. There are 14 options available that can be purchased individually or as a fatpack. Currently available at Kustom9 until October 10th, then afterwards you can find them at the main store.

Holding on to that summer feeling

I thought there would be no more summer photos, but I couldn’t resist showcasing this water pump patch by Two Moon Gardens. I modified a second copy to grab some of the flowers to add to this scene. It’s perfect for an outside decor setting. You can find this at the Spoonful of Sugar Festival along with some other landscaping scenes by Two Moon Garden.

The dress is by Scandal Fashions and is available in another color and also found at the festival. The sandals and spiral leg accessories are by Promagic and available at this month’s round of Chapter Four. The long wavy hair known as Jessica is by NSP Florals and available at this round of Designer Showcase. You will find it in various hair colors. It has this lovely floral accessory that gives it that soft romantic magical feelings.
