The weekend was over much too quick and it seems the days are going much faster since the time switched or my body clock just needs a few more days to adjust. I popped into SL late last night to get this shot in to post today, having interrupted my ongoing rhythm of blogging daily over the weekend. It’s alright, it wasn’t a goal or anything. I find blogging helps keep my mind occupied and that in itself helps me relax, plus its fun dressing up and creating scenes and even more fun sharing.

St. Patrick’s holiday is right around the corner and when I think of a celebration it conjures up Irish dancing, music, shamrocks, wearing green and drinking Guinness. Aphrodite Shops wants to help you celebrate as well with this Irish Pub that comes equipped with 20 animations and 18 props, with many drink dispensers and St. Patrick’s decor. It also includes one of my favorite features in furniture today, and that is having the option and choice to change the wood, fabric and metal. Watch the video to see many of the animations that it contains to give you the ultimate role-play experience.

Speaking of role-play… poised with finger on the trigger… can I pass as a bond girl?

Coffee O’Clock

Today I am combining something new with some previous buys, most of which are gacha items from past events. Aphrodite Shops has released a new mesh fully animated coffee machine that has on and off sounds and a coffee beans container. It dispenses a dozen of different gourmet coffees. It comes with the new automatic attachment system that I like, that doesn’t create items in your inventory. The set comes with a dozen decorative cups that are rezzable and also decorative sugar bags. The cookie platter is also part of the set and on touch dispenses cookies. Those little details in a product matter to me — especially when you want to have an interactive experience.

After looking at those cookies it really makes me want to have something sweet in real.

B is for Boon.. Boom….

Diamond in the Rough

I have been wanting to style this dress for about two weeks now… it just got lost in the mess that my inventory has become. There is no immediate remedy for the latter. As for the dress finding it a couple of days ago I set it aside to style over the weekend. I love the asymmetrical design and is what drew me to the dress in the first place.

The dress reveals a lot of skin from the sides, so when I first took a picture it just seemed there was more than I was comfortable with. This prompted a search for a body tattoo that would detract the eyes from all the exposed skin. Luckily I remembered seeing some at the Rock Attitude Fashion Fair. I not only found the body tattoo I found this hair, which is a hair style I had a few year ago in real life. The hair comes with a HUD to let you switch the color of one side. I loved this.
