I’m showing another pair of shoes that will be available on November 21st for the 21Shoe event that runs for 24 hours only. These adorable hounds-tooth Saddle Jane flats from Sax Shepherd Designs are perfect for taking a stroll through the shopping district and residential parts of Second Life. I didn’t have to fight lag or see giant size mesh clothing floating all around me while I walked to find a spot to take a snapshot. I must admit that I liked that experience and will be doing this a little more often for something different than setting up my own scene. The sim was practically deserted and it’s a shame, but with so many events that run throughout the month it’s so easy for some of these wonderfully created locations to take a back seat. That’s another great thing about 21Shoe is that all shoes can be found at the individual stores.

Not pictured is the other shoe that is part of the two-for-one deal, which are the button mules that also come in the same hounds-tooth fabric. You will get two colors with each set — a white/black and red/black in each shoe style and all for a really great price of $299L and never to be sold again. The waist cincher that matches the shoes will be offered as an add-on the same day also for a very good price.

I’m feeling a bit out of sorts tonight and managed to distract myself by doing a little inventory cleaning and then working on this picture of some of the items that I found at “The Gathering,” a gacha event that only runs for two weeks. It started on the 1st of the month and you have until the 15th if you’re up for the gacha craze.

Fantasy Gacha Carnival

I thought maybe this letter would be my biggest challenge in finding something in my inventory. Though as I looked through I saw X-Clusives Animations as a store inside my folder marked “X” for animations. I had completely forgotten about this store. Seeing the name reminded me of one the first items that I purchased for my landscape decor. This covered bridge, which by the way has been re-textured from the original texture. If my land was a bit bigger this is something that I would still use today.

Only two more letters to complete this alphabet challenge. It’s been a fun challenge to do, and it’s given me an opportunity to dig through my inventory and revisit items I hadn’t given thought to in a long time.

I love small things like this mirror in Second Life and thought it was the perfect item to remind myself to do what this very lesson imparts.

Lesson 35: Put It On Paper!

Incomplete actions take up space in our awareness. When we retain information or unfinished to-dos in our minds rather than on a calendar or scheduling system, we become easily distracted from the truly important tasks.

If you’ve been feeling confused, unfocused, or scattered, this weekly assignment will give you some much-needed peace of mind. Just think: What else could you be dreaming, planning, and creating if your mind were relieved of all the details it’s been holding?

Your Self-Love Assignment

This is the week to put everything you’ve been holding in your head onto paper. Use the following questions to trigger your memory.

Are there appointments you need to make? The dentist? The accountant? The gardener? The hairdresser?
Are there phone calls or e-mails you need to return?
What other forms of communication do you need to deliver? Do you have birthday cards or thank-you notes to send?
Are there scraps of paper or sticky notes bearing useful information all over your home and car?
Are there items to be returned or bills to be paid?

After you’ve captured on paper everything that needs to get done, assign a specific date by which each item will be complete.

Self-Love Points Earned

Give yourself 50 points for each task you take out of your mind and put into your schedule.
