Each memory has a soundtrack of it’s own

Happy Saturday! The credits were way longer than I thought, even with having much of the information it still takes time to sort it out and insert all the links and everything else that goes along with making a blog post. Though I’m in a cheerful good mood today so let me share what I’m showing today.

I’ll start with what I’m wearing. The Valery Skin is a new release by Insol and it’s available at Tres Chic. I wasn’t familiar with this skin creator, so it was nice to try it out and was rather pleased with the skin tones and easy to use applier system. I’m wearing the tan version of the skin, but you can find an additional five tones (peach, miilk, honey, creme and cinnamon) as well.

The pulled back hairstyle called Alanis is by Opale and available in 9 different color sets also at Tres Chic. The lovely necklace is available in a black, silver or gold pack. The cute dress with open shoulders is by Kaithleen’s and you’ll find it in a range of colors, at least 15 if not more. Then I’m wearing one of the new releases by Empire, which are the Tithonia that are available at this round of Kustom9. As always with Empire shoes, you get a 12-color hud that gives you quite a few options. My last picture gives you a close up of the necklace and hair.

The last items being showcased are all the decor items. The first is the rustic Whimsical Light set by [Merak], available at Shiny Shabby. The candle in the vintage lamp light can be turned on and off. The painted tree comes in two versions, showing the green base, the other not show is silver. The rustic vase also in two versions, shown is green base as well and the other not shown is red. They can all be purchased separately or in a discounted pack.

I’m showing rugs from Bee Designs, and it’s part of their Haven Tree House Gacha out now at Shiny Shabby. Other items from this same creator are items from their Bella Gacha set at Lost & Found. The two frames above the bed, the suitcases on the bed and decor boxes on the chair. The small golden table that holds the teal lamp is by I[BDKX]I-//- and is available at On9, which is open for another couple or so days. The lounge type chair is by Sources and at Cosmopolitan. You can change the texture of both the chair and the blanket.

Cottage BonneTerre

From the same creators that brought you the BeauRoche, that I blogged back in April, M&M Creations now bring you Cottage BonneTerre, which means “Good Soil”. The creator writes… “We all know those cute little creatures with big flat feet who have great adventures all over the fantasy world. They live in even so cute homes with round doors and a lot of wood from the forest.”

Personally, I thought of the movie Shrek and his little home that he had to bend down to get into. M&M Creations has now made this cottage for big creatures. No need for bending. The home is dug into a grassy hill with flowers and to help visualize the concept I did some landscaping using the Sassafras and Aspen trees by Little Branch, available now at ongoing events. Both trees are seasonal trees that on touch change to the season you want. I also used a backyard swamp by TLC, modding the grass parts of it the same as the cottage so that they blended together and then used wild grass from Skye.

The whole process for the cottage took three month from inspiration to modeling to completion. Below the credits I have included some additional details from the creator on the cottage.

-The oval front door with hand forged hinges leads to a spacious room.
-There you will find a very cute stove with its pipe going all the way up.
-The plastered walls are decorated with organic shapes.
-An arched window with 2 open-able windows gives a nice view on the surrounding scenery.
-The stone stairs just behind the huge tree, which supports the thatched roof, leads to an upper level with 2 light domes.
-From there wooden stairs go up to an octagonal room with a balcony overlooking the lower floor.
-When going down again you can enter the annex and go outside through the double doors onto the small terrace.
-Of course while exploring you discovered the stained glass windows dropping its light onto the floors.
-From the terrace a small path leads back to the front door.
-The scenic hill is surrounded by a dry stone wall from huge blocks which are used in the building as well.

Enjoy this adventurous new creation of M&M and find pleasure in making it your own.

Soul box

Over the weekend I visited this gacha resale place and was surprised by many of the decor items that I was oblivious to. I was like where is this from and how did I miss this when it came out. There is just so much being created now that it is impossible to keep up anymore, but how lucky are we to be spoiled for choice.

Today I am showing a few things for home and garden. This summer retreat is a new release by Shutter Field. It’s roomy and has that summer feel to it with all the windows and makes for a lovely piece to create your own outdoors retreat. The furniture decor inside is mostly all from Bee Designs. It is their “A Song for You” gacha, currently at the Lost & Found Event. It’s the perfect setting for either outdoors or indoors and if you’re a lover of music then the black musical wall decor is for you. There is another musical instrument piece that is not shown.

The room divider inside is by Mushilu and it’s currently at The Secret Affair. I am showing the white washed green version, but it is available also in a brown wood tone and in other screen colors.

The other item that I am featuring today is the sassafras trees outside, which are from Little Branch. It’s a four seasons tree, which means that on touch you can pick the season you want and it’s available at this round of Shiny Shabby.

Sobering thoughts

I’m doing a second post today; even though it’s a little after midnight so technically it’s the next day right?

What I’m featuring is this tavern set by [Nobles Creations], currently at the Lost & Found Event, which ends at the end of the month. If you’re not familiar with this store, it is a Medieval Fantasy Store that has furniture and also role-play items. The store is celebrating it’s first anniversary starting tomorrow. There will be a party and during the party, a special crazy hunt where there will be 12 gift cards hidden in a small package somewhere inside or outside the store.

BeauRoche

Today I am featuring this mixture of cottage and castle known as the BeauRoche by M&M Creations, designer and creator of sculpted prims and mesh. The cottage/castle was inspired by a late medieval cottage found in rural France. It sits atop a small rocky rise that gives it a grandeur presence.

It’s highly detailed in both the mesh and textures utilized and to give a touch of realism the exterior texture has put-log holes to convey the age of the building. All of the doors, gates and windows are scripted to open and close with original new sounds and the fountain seen in the first picture is scripted with running water that can be turned on and off.

The balcony in the last photo could also be used as an entrance as the railing leading out from the house can be swapped out for a gate. There is arch way in the courtyard/garden.

Each purchase includes a copy/modifiable version of high and low LOD build, and a template for the nameplate and also the shade maps. The high has a land impact of 95 with the low at 56 with a footprint of 31×28.5 meter.

It’s a well done building that is great for medieval role-play enthusiasts. Go check out other builds by this creator at their main store

The leaning tree in the first picture is not part of the building. It’s the newest tree by Little Branch called the Honey Tree, available now at the newest round of Lost & Found. The flowers also show in the first picture are by Little Branch as well and currently at FaMESHed.

It’s a classic

The song has no meaning to this picture, but it was playing as I was starting to write this post. I’m in-world and dressed up in fantasy wear with a cape, so yeah superman has nothing on me.

Though it’s a beautiful song nonetheless that has some beautiful lyrics to encourage calling if you need a friend. Giving love to someone who needs it, and being the strong one when the other is weak. When all hope is gone, just take a chance and make that call and I’ll be there to save the day.

Yep, superman has nothing on me. I’m superwoman. 🙂

Happy Saturday everyone!

It’s good to have a little sunshine back today, especially after yesterday’s stormy weather. The rest of the eastern states are getting the brunt of this winter storm passing through. My friend in Tennessee sent me some pictures of her pasture with the donkeys she raises roaming around, with trees and bushes covered in icicles and the ground covered in fallen snow. To someone who doesn’t get snow it looked so inviting and picturesque.

Instead I have sunlight streaming in heavily through my window, but it’s pretty windy with a slight coolness so I’m getting ready to open lots of windows.

I’m going to this post in now before I forget as the day goes on. The wooden dining set is a new item by Mushilu, out now at the Secret Affair. It’s available in different wood colors. I am showing the light version wood.
