Thank you to all of you who reached out to me in-world to find out how I was doing. The bruise on my arm is about the length of the tattoo in this picture and is now changing color signifying it’s on its way back to normal. My knee is still tender and I can’t laugh without feeling the soreness. Nothing like a fall to bring you back to reality.

Even if my real self is sore and feeling like I’ve been battered my pixels feel pretty darn good in this stunning dress from Junbug. It was available during the mystery gacha that is now over. I’m not certain if it will be available at the store — though worth checking out. If not just ding me in-world I’m sure that I have an extra dress and stole and my inventory will surely thank you.

Lesson 35: Put It On Paper!

Incomplete actions take up space in our awareness. When we retain information or unfinished to-dos in our minds rather than on a calendar or scheduling system, we become easily distracted from the truly important tasks.

If you’ve been feeling confused, unfocused, or scattered, this weekly assignment will give you some much-needed peace of mind. Just think: What else could you be dreaming, planning, and creating if your mind were relieved of all the details it’s been holding?

Your Self-Love Assignment

This is the week to put everything you’ve been holding in your head onto paper. Use the following questions to trigger your memory.

Are there appointments you need to make? The dentist? The accountant? The gardener? The hairdresser?
Are there phone calls or e-mails you need to return?
What other forms of communication do you need to deliver? Do you have birthday cards or thank-you notes to send?
Are there scraps of paper or sticky notes bearing useful information all over your home and car?
Are there items to be returned or bills to be paid?

After you’ve captured on paper everything that needs to get done, assign a specific date by which each item will be complete.

Self-Love Points Earned

Give yourself 50 points for each task you take out of your mind and put into your schedule.

Where the wind blows

While I live so close to the ocean I rarely make the time to go out and enjoy the water. Yesterday I was having lunch with these two lovely ladies who have a common interest in painting and we made plans to do some plein-air painting in the near future. Plein air, is a French word, that translates as “open air”, and defined as painting or drawing outside in the open air. It’s been a while since I last picked up a brush and I’ve always painted within the confines of a studio so this will be a first experience. Though I’m aiming for something different, so I’ll just see where the wind blows with this painting adventure. That is what prompted me to go searching for a nice beach in-world and was not disappointed when I found this absolutely delightful location called Crossing Currents.

Besides the lovely landscaping, the ocean and the sounds of the waves the other nice little perk is that it allows you to rez and I don’t know about you, but that is always a big plus. Now if I can only get my pose animations all worked out to use without too much hassle then it would be a piece of cake. Now that just makes me want something sweet to eat.
