Today I am featuring items from a few events. The first is the long braids on the side hair by [Muse], available at this round of Genre. You will find it in natural, fantasy and colors. The glasses that I’m wearing are from Izzie’s and are at Geeks & Nerds. It comes with a hud to change the color of the frame and the glass.

The sexy lingerie is from Me Sew Sexy Clothier at On9. They are gacha and mesh body compatible with 18 commons and 3 rares.

Piglet farm

When I first saw the barn, windmill and sprinkler items from [Schultz Bro.], there was no thought on how I would show them until I laid them out and thought of what animals to use in the picture. It just happened that this past Friday, a friend who lives in Tennessee, was transporting a pig she saved from the slaughter house to one of these facilities where they take care of pigs.

That’s how my piglet farm came to be. She doesn’t run a farm, but she has several acres and has a love of animals and was telling me that she needed to invest in a larger barn if she took in anymore animals. She already owns horses, birds, dogs and cats and no telling what else.

Now to what I am featuring today. Schultz Bros. has put together another fantastic realistic set of items that will be released at the upcoming round of Cosmopolitan that begins on August 15th. These items are not sold together as a set, they will be available individually. The homestead barn is realistically textured and detailed and it only has a land impact of 29 and the separate barn light is 1. The old windmill has a land impact of 10 and has female and male and unisex animations. The rusted sprinkler shown is the larger of all four pieces in this set of sprinklers. The land impact ranges from 2 to 13, which is shown here only partially.

Everything is 100% mesh with copy and mod permission. Truly fantastic pieces if you have a love of old stuff and the country life style.

SL Drawing Class 101

Doing a final post for the Home & Garden Expo, unless I get a chance to do some more or feature items in other posts. I hope that by now you’ve had a chance to stop in and check out the expo and help support Relay for Life of Second Life. It ends on March 6th so you still have time.

I am showing some of the art pieces by Organica, which I absolutely love being an artist in real life. While I sketch from time to time in pencil I am more comfortable with a paint brush using oils. The easel horses come with a few poses as does the posing stools. The light illuminating from the can light was inserted by me in the photo processing just so you know it’s not that lit. I just wanted to give our model a slow burn… coughs, as he was being a bit obstinate in not wanting to use the poses in the stool. The canvases leaning against the stool are by Meshopotamia and also at the expo. I used other art pieces from various creators and are listed below.

I enlisted the help of some friends for this picture as it’s always nice to create scenes with other people and not just always by yourself.

Keep the fire burning bright

Featuring some furniture by [Noble Creations] today. The first is this antique table and chairs that are available at the Fantasy Collective. They bring a smile to my face as they remind me of my paternal grandmother’s own dining room table that was similar except hers had six chairs.

The fireplace is at the main store and comes in a dark and light version. The wall standards are now out at The Secret Affair, and come with a Hud to change to two texture choices and four color selections.

The times are changing

I am doing a second post today as I wanted to show a couple of items that are available today only for 25 lindens for 25L Tuesday. This is a mostly role-play/fantasy/gorean list of content creators who participate. Though I often find individual pieces or decor items that I can mix in with my own style of dress or decor.

Today for 25L Tuesday two creators that I blog for are participating. The first is Dysfunctional Designs who has the simple wooden cabinet. It has a land impact of 2, and has six texture choices for the wood. I opted to use it outside in this picture, but its uses are many. Anything your imagination comes up with. I’m also showing the simple metal fence that came out previously, except I was not able to blog it then. It is available at the main store. It has several choices for changing the metal.

The other item that I am featuring is the cobblestone path from Jian, also available today for 25L Tuesday. The path can be changed for the season by simple HUD, and there are 3 rock textures. The other thing that I like about the path is the transparent ground option, so if you just want the stones.

I picked up another bargain today for 25 lindens. That’s the wooden ironing board at Hello Tuesday.
