Sentimental reasons
Happy Wednesday! Today I bring you some more decor from all over the grid. The first being the newest gacha release by Haikei called “Sentimental Reason” and it’s absolutely delightful. The rare is the actual building itself with some decor pieces that I put around the room so I’m going to link you over to the gacha key so you can identify them by the picture. I’ve also marked them below in credits at the end of the numbers.
I’m also showing the latest release by Anhelo for the new event “Man Cave” geared towards men. The decorated wood chest with the deer heads and lovely frame above the chair. I’m also showcasing a few various pieces from some of the designers that participated at the Arcade — Ariskea, Aria, Pixel Mode, Sari-Sari and [Commoner] as well as Plaaka.

Out with the old, in with the new…. Happy New Year!!!
Well I close this year with this last picture saying goodbye to the old and hello to the new year. While my avatar looks like she might be in a state of reminiscing I can assure you she is not. I’m glad to see the back of this year that was filled with so much uncertainty, turmoil and craziness in the world and in so many of our personal lives as well. There were good moments and for those I am thankful and grateful for and as for the rest that were not I say good riddance.
I also decided last night that there is no time like the present to do what I need to do like organize my inventory, so as of today’s post I will be on a blogging break for a week. I don’t know how much I will get accomplished in that amount of time — hopefully with effort make a big enough dent to allow room for the new.
With that said I want to thank you all again for your readership, support and kind friendship throughout this year even if we have never run into each other in-world or met beyond the words and pictures we share in our blogs. May you have a safe and fun New Year!!

You were larger than life
My father was one of those individuals that was larger than life, but he was just a man with a passion for life, his music and family. Today is his birthday and I miss him a lot. I wasn’t sure that I would get around to doing a blog post today, but I’ve done one the last two years in tribute to my father and so I could not go without doing it.
The items that I used for my picture are all from this round of On9, minus the hair and the basics that I wear most days. Everything is listed in credits and instead of creating my own scene I visted Winter Trace, which reminded me of one of our last family trips to the Smoky Mountains during Christmas one year.

A cold winter night
I’m cold this afternoon with the temperatures being only in the 60s, which is probably warmth and sunshine weather for many of you who live in colder climate places. I know. I get it. I’m still cold. I’m not complaining though. I like this weather, but my body isn’t agreeing with me just yet and tells me different.
I’ve got another cold winter picture here featuring the outdoors to my post yesterday. The sunrise beachhouse by ChiC buildings is orginal mesh at 17.2 x 15.7 meters in size and a land impact of 86. It’s available at the Draftsman Event along with the path and patio stone walkway that are sold separately. The outside landscape is all by Little Branch, with the exception of the Christmas tree, which is a group gift the rest can be cound at this round of FaMESHed. The park bench is a recently released new item by [Schultz Bros.] and can be found at the main store. The blackboard is another piece of the items shown in yesterday’s post by Onedecor also at Draftsman.

Her hideaway
In just under three hours the doors will be bursting open wide for the Arcade and the crowds will be wild. I am doing a second post today even though it’s just gone past midnight so technically it’s the next day to showcase the rare in the Home for the Holidays gacha by Hive. The whole set is 11 commons and 1 rare, which is this house that has a land imapct of 141. It’s two levels that are open and has a one car garage. I absolutely adore it and the rest of the items that I will show off soon!
I cannot take any credit for the landscaping, as it was done by a good friend of mine.

Self propelled
I’m shooting for less words today and more pictures even though I’m not quite sure I will accomplish it by the time I’m done. I’m very cold sitting here at my desk even with a long sleeve sweater and a jacket on top of that and I’m getting a headache to boot. After I complete this post I’m hopping into the comfort of my bed and really going to focus on a lazy Sunday.
Today the Draftsman event opens and just from the few pictures I’ve seen already there is going to be some really great things to be found. Just take a look at these wonderful aviation items made up of the propellers, frames and the coat rack from Blue Sky. They are mod as I resized one of the propellers to a small size, so that I could show you more than one.
I’m wearing a new hair design by Iconic, which I absolutely love as it frames the face very well and I just love the waves and the length. The dress is by United Colors and I was complimented more than twice while wearing it in a different color yesterday. That just tells you how downright sexy it is with the right amount of skin showing. Both can be found at Tres Chic. The light gold wrist bracelet is by Salvadori and it’s at On9 also and available in a couple of other metal tones. I’m also using another standing pose by K&S Poses.
The fall entry set is by Quasi, and it’s perfect for the season we’re in and available at On9, as well as the renanta couch by New Church. The design is really neat and different and texture change by the click of the cushion and seat of the couch.
Last, but certainly not least I am also showing a new build by DaD Designs. The Cave Skybox is just perfect if you want something cozy with a bit of elegant modern living. I took a few pictures and collaged them, but if you click on it you can see it at a larger size.

Stand tall and be strong
Over the summer I took a trip to Texas as I was contemplating on moving there at the time. I traveled with all women that are members of my immeidate family visiting various cities. While at each city we took in the local attractions and in San Antonio one of the places we visited was the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch, where you get to drive through acres of what their web site describes as “rolling hills, creek beds, and magnificent live oak trees and witness the behavior of over 500 animals from 40 exotic, native and endangered animal species worldwide.”
I can certainly attest to seeing a lot of animals that literally came up to your car as you drove through at a slow pace. Unfortunately, during the time we traveled that part of the nation was experiencing heavy rains and the roads where the giraffes were housed and roamed were flooded. My niece loves these tall and regal looking animals and I do also. Though to compensate they had moved a few giraffes to the front of the ranch in an enclosed area where you could walk to and see them up close. This was one of the best highlights of our trip as we really had an enjoyable time seeing all the animals and we laughed so hard during our time there that it will always be a pleasant memory for all of us to cherish as we bonded even closer then.
So that when I saw this nicely done woodlance fence set from .peaches., which is their release for the Draftsman Event that starts tomorrow I thought of using giraffes, which then made me remember our trip. The fence ranges in land impact from 1 to 12 for the arch with the gate. I will be showing more items from this event in the coming days.
My hair and clothes are from this round of Tres Chic with the hair with fedora being by Beusy and sweater top and suede lace-up shorts or hotpants as named by Petite Mort. It’s not often that I go outside my natural tones when it comes to wearing hairs, but I felt like something different today so I chose the special colors to wear. I thought it looked really pretty and vibrant.
The outfit is mesh body compatible and is also available in several different colors; 5 for the hotpants and 10 for the tops. They fit perfectly with my maitreya mesh body and to complement the outfit I am wearing the newest thigh high heels by Empire called Weigela that are available at this new round of Kustom9. The pose is another great one by K&S Poses, which is a continuing one of their Katya sets.

Lets sit a while
One of the things that I knew would be different when I moved to the central part of the state of Florida, was that the weather would be much cooler come this time of year. It’s a welcome change even though it’s going to take some adjusting to and it means drinking more hot cocoa and tea.
Having a coziness outfit like this sweater and jeans combo from ArisAris/B&W is perfect for this kind of chilly weather. These are available at the current round of On9. You can also find these wrap bootie shoes that are from Garbaggio as well as the glasses from The Oak. The jewelry worn is by SPELL and it’s from their Gaya Gacha at The Chapter Four. Today’s home decor is by a few creators. I’ll start with ancient yew globe, which is the rare item that’s part of the Gaya Gacha by SPELL at The Chapter Four. The windmill and all it’s furnishings are by [Schultz Bros.], and it’s just a few pieces of their Dam! Dollhouse Gacha at 6 Republic.
