The Fall colors are in or they are at least in Second Life. It’s probably my favorite season with all the reds, oranges and browns. Today I am featuring items from a few creators who are offering you their finest for this Fall season.

Happy Thursday! It’s been a few days since I last posted here, only because I had a few items that I wanted to get done on my other blog at Alexa’s Fantasy Wardrobe. Though I’m back to show you some new great home and garden stuff. The first item that I am showcasing is this new skybox by the Hive available at this round of FaMESHed. It has a land impact of 15, approximate size is 16L x 13W x 8H, as you can see with the picture beneath it makes for a great outside view . I provided an inside view as well in the last pictures below, where it shows the wall of doors slightly open letting in the sun or air, which ever atmosphere you prefer.
It includes this little nook, which I have decorated with a few items – some from the arcade, old releases and the ones I’m featuring from Pastiche. They are the two chairs and table nearest to the window. The chairs come with a color texture hud giving you a few options to choose from. In this picture I went with some natural earthy colors. These will be at the upcoming Spoonful of Sugar Festival that opens on September 9th at 12 am SLT and will end September 25th.
This festival is going to benefit the Doctors without Borders/Medicins Sans Frontieres.100% of the proceeds of at least one item in each store will be directly donated to the charity plus a participation donation by each designer. All monies will be going to the American office of Medicins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders), an international organization that provides emergency medical aid to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from health care regardless of politics, religion or other affiliations.
It’s going to be 5 sims with over 180 stores in fashion, home and garden and breedables. Below credits I have put some more information on this event.
The last items that are being featured are the trees by Little Branch shown in the second picture. As you can see they make for some wonderful landscaping. The Juniper are the ones with the swirl on the side of the skybox and you can find these at the new round of The Liaison Collaborative that runs until September 30th. The cedar trees come in two versions and these are available at FaMESHed, which ends on September 27th. Both are seasonal trees, which means on touch you can choose the season you want and it changes in texture to that season.
For every national and international disaster Doctor’s Without Borders has been there. There is no barrier, border, or line they will not cross, no length they will not go to too bring aid to those who need it most. Where there is need they are there giving generously all of their knowledge, talent, and skills. Now it is time to give back to them.
Second Life is a global community and with the help of AIM, LTD, ModeLS Magazine, The Second Life Enquirer, SL Live Radio, and Versus Magazine we will come together to celebrate the world wide movement of Médecins Sans Frontières with an entire two weeks of parties, events, and fundraising beginning Sept 9th to the 25th, 2016. Join us at The Spoonful of Sugar Festival as we jet off to old London for what this inaugural event and help MSF/DWB to make a difference in the world.
We have some of the most amazing, wonderful, and talented designers in fashion, home and garden, and breedables joining us to make this an event to remember. Take a moment to shop Alafolie, Ex Machina, Zuri Jewelry, Roanwood for exciting fashion and home goods. Stop by the Wonderful World of Meeroos or visit Wild Kajaera or Dragoos on the lovely breedables sim. There will be a little bit of everything from clothing, to hair, and skins. Our Home & Garden Sim will be filled with furniture, home accessories, and gorgeous houses that will make you the envy of your neighbors. Finally the breedable sim will house some of the most adorable, cute, and cuddly creatures that danced through anyones imagination. The best part it can all be yours and it will all benefit an amazing cause.
This is just the beginning though we have some fabulous events planned for the week including an opening gala event, fabulous London Bridge themed fashion show, live entertainment, dance parties, and more. Enjoy a carriage around Piccadilly with Elite Equestrian.

Join our inworld group! Spoonful Of Sugar (SOS) Festival
Featuring a new release by [Schultz Bros.], which is this skybox that is available now at this new round of Cosmopolitan. It’s copy/mod with only a 7 land impact and its approximately 15 x 11m. Great if you are limited in prim and need something small. I’ve included a collage picture below of how it looks unfurnished.
The skybox is furnished with some new and old stuff. The bed, ottomans, clock and mirror along with the nightstand are items by Bee Designs and it’s from their French Rose gacha. It was from a previous event, but you should be able to find it at the store. The stuffed sheep near the stairs are also by Bee Designs, and are from this round of Lost & Found, but it ends tonight, so they should be available at the store. They are the cutest things and make great decor for anywhere in the house.
Here’s a close up of the dogs. The adult wanderer I’ve shown previously in a post and it’s the reward dog when you hit the JIAN machine at the Arcade 25 times. The family bed is a common and its texture change for both the dogs and the bed. It’s also only 1 land impact.

Tomorrow the newest round of On9 begins and besides fashion there is always a few home and garden stuff at this event. I’m showing a couple items today that you can find. The first is the industrial tray by Decor Junction, it has a magazine, vase and two steaming cups of coffee to get your morning started or to finish off your evening.
The other item is the white apothecary cabinet by New Church. It’s also available in 4 other wood colors and stands at about 2m tall. It can be resized, though you’re cautioned that it may affect this item’s land impact. If you do resize, you need to make sure doors are set as closed, as they will reset to accommodate the new dimensions as you resize it. It also allows you to link items together with the cabinet, helpful instructions are provided if you do this.
Last item being shown is the Livingstone sofa by Dad Designs, available at The Crossroads. It’s got a land impact of 13 and is available in both a pg and adult version. Both have an abundance of single, couple and family animations.

Industrial Loft by unKindness

It’s been a while since I’ve decorated to this extent, but I was in the mood to do it with this newly released loft by DaD Design at the Monsieur Chic, a new men’s high fashion shopping event that will also have some furniture. The Tribeca loft is a limited edition item and only 100 of these will be sold, so grab yours quickly. More information on the loft is below the credits and I have also included a photo collage of the loft itself.

Another item that is being featured today is the cream and brown armchairs by DaD Design as well. They come in pg and adult versions and are just so inviting with some very nice sit, cuddle animations in the pg versions shown here and can fit both an indoor or an outdoor setting. These are available now at the Monsieur Chic event as well.
The last items being featured are the curious cats by Jian. Now you must understand that I am not a cat person in either world, so it’s kind of hard to call them adorable. Though Jian does a great job in creating some cute animals for us to enjoy the experience of having pets in-world. Apart from stationary cats there are wandering ones that walk freely and then clinging cats for those who want to carry them around. These curious cats are available for the new round of The Gacha Garden. I’m showcasing a couple of common ones, a few rares and also the seed of inspiration gift that is received after a player does 20 pulls on a single machine. I’ve put the event website below the credits, if you want more information and want to learn how to play.
The rest of the items used are from past events and a considerable amount of them are gachas.

I am very proud to present this loft / skybox that reproduces the inside of an apartment in the Tribeca neighborhood of New York.
The Loft is industrial-style consists of a large living room, a separate area to use as a bedroom. With a sliding door leads to another room / bathroom.
The loft has 7 scenary with views of New York City day-sunset and night.
Vintage street lamps on the ceiling complete the loft.
Windows:

Vintage Street Lamps:
Column that divides the living room from the bedroom is placed a switch to turn on or turn off the lights.
And ‘possible to add or remove Vintage Street Lamps: It is important in any case link new lamp to the rest of the loft

After several restless nights I finally got a good sleep in, so I’m feeling bright-eyed and bushy tailed. In other words fully alert and with a slight degree of enthusiasm. I’m not a morning person after all!
Today I am featuring a new designer/creator. New to the blog, but not to Second Life. She’s been around for a few years and her store in Second Life is focused on original, high quality, mesh role play furniture. Her new release, the Kaoutar lounge set, is a gorgeous adult set of furniture.
You get quite a bit of animations with both the double and single seats, that have a mixture of single sits, cuddles, dominants and sex animations. It’s 100% mesh and my favorite of all creations is always the texture hud that gives you a little customization. This one includes a hud with 10 luxury colors for the fabric and 5 wood colors.
