Aphrodite Shops has a new garden porch set that comes with three seating sofa/chairs as shown that have an abundance of animations for singles and couples. What I personally like is the three winter color themes for the texture that are accessible by menu when you hit the shadows. It makes for some lovely garden and/or porch furniture for the holiday season.

Well I finally made it to the Arcade only to crash after only a few hits on one or two machines. I thought of going back to the off sim ship, except I kind of like being up close and personal to the machines when I play. It’s like being at a real casino. I rather pull the lever down then hit the buttons — personally I get bored with just sitting there and pressing a button and besides don’t you think it takes your money much faster?

I thought this crazy hair I’m wearing deserved a little play and what better way then to play with this cute holiday hound that was an advent gift.

I’ll be home with bells on

I think the bell on the wreath made me think of the song “I’ll Be Home With Bells On” when I looked at the picture this morning. It’s a holiday classic that still brings a smile and makes you want to stomp your feet. I am listening to it as I’m sitting here writing and starting to get energized.

I absolutely love the feel of a cabin as it conjures up an image of a large fireplace roaring with a warm fire and the idea of sipping hot chocolate all the while in long johns and fuzzy socks. Chuckles.

The complete Christmas living room set is by HJM Designs and is currently available at the Perfect 10 Event at the Cookie Jar. It comes with a rez system so it’s fairly easy to set up or you can just rez and move items about. It’s discounted at the event for half price at only $199L.

Today All The Little Things opens and here are some cute things from Happy Puppy. The carousel is the rare item in the set of carousels that on touch turn. The ladybug is a gift at the event, so make sure you go grab yours. Lil me is also wearing a kitty hat by Buglets that is at this round of Hello Beautiful.

I was in a bit of a lazy mood last night preferring to go out and enjoy Second Life for once instead of trying to get my blogs for this week prepared. I did manage to do a couple of photos to get my week started.

The best journey takes you home

DaD Designs brings us their latest creation with the “Tuscany Country Cottage” a 100% original mesh home. The creator states in her notes this cottage is a typical house of the Tuscan countryside. I particularly like the large patio at the entrance with two double doors that lead into the house where you will find two large living rooms and a small room.

The first floor contains two large bedrooms. There is a pergola covered with vines with the leaves blowing in the wind and a bunch of grapes, which is a nice feature.

I’m also showing the golden Autumn outdoor set from Aphrodite Shops. Everything pictured besides plant and dog are included in this set. It contains an abundance of animations and food and drink for an enjoyable experience.

Jian for the Neighborhood

The pool is just 14 land impact and comes in both a pg and adult version and seven texture choice options with just a click. Breathing in the moments of yesterday.

When I created this scene I was thinking of my father as today is the anniversary of his passing. The orange trees created by Little Branch for this round of Shiny Shabby remind me of the time he took us out to an orange grove with him. I vaguely remember it now. Every so often when he was in between music gigs he would drive trucks or find some odd job. One of his friends managed this grove and dad thought picking oranges would be easy. I smile at the memory now and the retelling of this story even years later. Dad was a hard worker, though this type of laborious work just wasn’t in him. I don’t know how many of those tubs he filled before he hauled us all out of there, but it wasn’t long.

I live in Florida so seeing rows of orange trees is almost an every day thing as they line the roads I travel to and from work. It’s nice to be able to share them here even on this anniversary of my dad’s passing as I honor his memory.
