Preparing for the holidays

Today I’m showcasing once again the Woodpecker Cottage by DaD Designs, as I did just the outside and I wanted to show a little of the inside with this decor post.  The house is available at District 20, and you can refer to my previous post where I featured the house with all the details here.

The furniture is a mixture of different creators, beginning with Cheeky Pea who released the Anita Living Room set at the recently closed Rewind Event. I didn’t get a chance to post it until now, but this gives you an opportunity to visit the main store and check out all their awesome creations. Serenity Style is participating in Whimsical with their Loly Xmas gacha. I’ve featured a couple items previously in another post, but here is more of the set.

Zen Creations has some a few new items out for the holidays. The wooden Christmas trees are available in a few colors, the decorative home jar and holiday pumpkins that also come in different theme colors.  I’m also using their wooden linked tables and an older item, which is the yesteryear decor pieces. To complete the scene I am also using a couple of items from the Lady Conference set by unKindness. The laptop with the spreadsheet in the window is my favorite piece as it reminds me of something I have in common with Julie, as it’s a good tool to keep up with all we have to blog.

It's a messy kind of day

The day has shown itself to be somewhat messy literally already, but it’s the start of the weekend and I am going to enjoy it to the fullest even if I have somewhat of a busy day tomorrow.

Today I’m showcasing items from [Tia], who has this wonderful clock-maker desk and chair set at Whimsical that ends tomorrow and then you can find it at the main store.  The detail and quality of her items are amazing and she’s really doing some great new things.  I have a bedroom set that I’ll be showing in the next days.

Then I’m also showcasing a new hair release by [Ink], which is a common in their messy hair gacha at the Arcade.  You can find the gacha key here to see the rest of the hairs in the gacha set.  The other items shown today are by Plastik, from their Vindeluna gacha at the Arcade as well.  These are such beautiful decor pieces that I will no doubt use again, but if you want to take a look at the rest of the set take a look here.

Winter Getaway

I’m back!  As mentioned in my earlier post today that I might be making second appearance today on my blog to show the Aspen Cabin by DaD Designs.  Well here it is, giving you a front view and then some pictures of the inside of this one bedroom and one bath with a good size living room space.  It’s available at Shiny Shabby.

I’m also featuring some winter landscape stuff. The first is the winter tree by Panavia that’s now at Draftsman.  It has a land impact of 10 as rezzed and will go down or higher depending on which way you resize.  The pine trees along with the chipmunks decor and the lamps on the doorstep are by Dreamscapes Art Gallery and at the main store.

Enjoying the birds sing

Doing a second post today as I’ve been trying to catch up a little in the last days I’ve been able to log.  What I am showing is this delightful garden set by unKindness, which is available at this round of Collabor88. There’s so much you can do with this set, either indoors or outdoors and the pieces range from 1 land impact to 5 and benches have about 10 sitting animations.  The other decor items being featured are the little birds chandelier and the twisted oak bird bath, which are new releases for Whimsical.  These two come in a light or dark version.

Just in case you missed me in the picture… I’m right there on the ground enjoying the summer heat as the birds sing a melody. Only in Second Life can I really enjoy being outside in 80 and above degrees Fahrenheit weather.  I’m wearing a boho top and denim skirt by [Lakshmi] available now at the ongoing round of On9. I don’t know if I ever really bottled up things inside. It probably depended on what it was and if I did it was probably not for long. More often the case as quick as I was to get angered I was quick to cool down.

These days I rarely hold back my tongue, though I am very diplomatic in nature… well most of the time.

Today I’m showing this furniture set by Mushilu that is available at Whimsical. The set includes the rose color dresser, book lamp and the table with some of the bottles.

I’m also featuring the mushrooms right outside the door.  These are the latest landscaping decor by Little Branch.  They are available now at the newest round of Shiny Shabby.  On touch you can change the color of the mushrooms.
