A quick post to show you the newest set by [ARIA] that is being offered at the new round of FaMESHed, which started yesterday.   The Finley set consists of the chaise lounger, side table and the decorative items you see on it.   As always you get a few choices for texture with a clickable menu on the choice and attachable props for some of the animations.

I don’t have the space for a proper foyer in my real life home as the front door opens right into the living room and just to the left of my entrance is a storage closet to hang coats and other items you want hidden.  Though I’ve always loved the idea of an entry hallway that leads you into other rooms.  In that entry way this Veronica foyer set by [ARIA] that consists of the console table that gives you a few choices on the wood, decorative mirror, plant and the round pouf that also comes with several choices in texture for the fabric would be the perfect thing to put there.   You can find this set at the SOU by Creation.jp event, which is celebrating its first anniversary and will be open until July 25th.  So you have plenty of time to grab this and other great finds at a discount.

Rustic elegance

Showing you the latest offering by [ARIA] at this round of Uber that opens today.   This lovely rustic dining room set called the Savannah comes with the wooden table that has texture change options for the wood, slip covered chairs which also gives you a choice of a few fabrics.  To complete the set are the candles, chandelier and roman style window blinds that also have texture change options.  You can find this set in both a pg and adult version and only 45 land impact and material enabled.

I can’t help and think of my trips to the city of Savannah in Georgia.  The bed and breakfast that I stayed at, which was just divine.  The touring around the city.  No ghosts were spotted.  Getting favor with the concierge at the very busy Paula Deen restaurant, who got us a table in minutes as opposed to waiting 2 hours or longer.  Definitely worth a city to visit again.

The Den 02656

A quick post to show you the latest home by The [Den], which can be found at the recently opened LTD Event.   It’s mesh and materials ready and you will love that it’s only 34 prims land impact.

I found myself a little thoughtful at first at how I would decorate it, especially the long narrow area near the windows in the top picture.  Though I feel pretty good with the end result.

Participating in the upcoming LTD Event that opens on June 10 with a new modular minimalist styled living set is [ARIA].  The set comes with two seating sections, a table piece, a light and assorted plants.  The total land impact for the set is only 27 and will be available in PG and Adult versions and with texture change options for both the table and the seating.

The storm isn’t quite over.

It’s been raining every other day it seems in my real world and today was no exception, so when I was going through the various wind lights trying to find one this one seemed to settle on me.  The [Den] has released  a new model called the Sundara Villa that is only 29 land impact.   It has three large sections to the home and has some really nice design features like the columns in the front of the home to the shape of the windows and the lighted effects of the ceiling in each room.   You can find this home at the current round of Uber.

Tomorrow hundreds will be storming the gates to the entrance of the Arcade.  Though if you want a little less chaos then try FaMESHed, which opens up with a new round tomorrow too.   [ARIA] has the Signe living set, which comes with a very comfortable sectional sofa, and some wonderful decor pieces.  The sofa has up to six different upholstery colors and many patterns to choose from for the cushions and throw. This set can be found in PG and Adult and can be purchased as a set or individual pieces.

It’s a second post today.  I am trying to do a little catch up while I have some time before rushing off to meet some friends for dinner to show you some of the awesome stuff that you can find right now at current events.  The Deva mini living set by [ARIA] is currently at this round of Uber.  The rich colors of the pieces certainly meet the expectations of the theme spice.  The lotus candles, the tables and sofa all come with texture change options.

Next are the sun chairs with well over ten sitting animations that Kuro will have available tomorrow for Lazy Sunday. There a total of five chairs, the only color not shown is the blue.

The cypress oaks are from Little Branch and can be found at the current round of The Cosmopolitan Room.  I love the option of having all four seasons with just a few clicks.

This a quick post before I have to rush off.  I wanted to show another pair of shoes that are available today only for the 21Shoe Event.  The flat shoes are from Essenz and are made to fit the Maitreya and the Slink feet.  The other pair as part of the two-for-one is the same style in a pink tone.  All shoes for today’s event can be found at the individual stores participating and if you need to locate the slurls, they can be found on the website under the current catalog that also shows you all the shoes in this round.

I’m also featuring this cozy bistro cafe set by [ARIA] that is available at Shiny Shabby.  The set consists of the table, chairs, the strawberry pot and the watering can behind me and as with most of their products you will find the option to change the texture on the chairs, cushion and table.  It’s full of animations with auto attach props like the mini pad and coffee cup to help make your experience even more realistic and fun.

We’re not broken ~ just adrift.

When I was trying out the animations on this broken chair and came to this one pose the scene immediately developed for me.   I figured a couple of trees and driftwood for the background would be simple enough as the focus would be the chair.  I fixed the picture and then gave some thought to a title and the obvious choice would be broken and then as I saw the driftwood just floating there adrift the title came to me.  I’m not broken, I’m just adrift right now.

The statement resounded in me and I thought that’s how I feel these days.  A little like just going through the motions and a bit scattered and not completely focused.  Not broken.. just adrift at the moment.  No. I’m not caught up in fantasy.  Far from it.  Reality smacks me too quickly these days to get myself too caught up in any type of fantasy.  It’s almost that feeling of being at a fork in the road in your life.  Maybe feeling a little stuck and on hold and yet having that feeling like I’m on the verge or cusp of or needing to make a turn.   Life hasn’t been boring lately that’s for sure.

Speaking of being a bit scattered.  I was leaving the house and was in my car when I suddenly realized that I had to have returned the rental vehicle two hours earlier.  Yikes.  I quickly called to have them extend the vehicle for another week as I’m leaving out of town tomorrow and won’t be back until the end of the week and I just don’t have time to exchange it.  It had completely slipped my mind and so with that said I have decided not to take a laptop with me while I’m away.

I think that I need to disconnect for a while.  It’s very rare that I will leave town and activate that automatic “I’m out of the office” message, but I think for once I am going to use it without hesitation.

[ARIA] @ 6th Republic

I didn’t plan on doing a post today as I didn’t do much last night while in-world outside of walking the dark style fair and a sneak peek into 6th Republic. Normally, I take pictures during my time in the evening and blog first thing in the morning or every now and then later in the day when I have a free moment as often times I’ve already started the post with the picture and credits done. The only drawback to not posting in the morning is that then I’m at work and I don’t log into SL at work and while I can access the blog and post I don’t have access to my pictures to upload onto Flickr.  

Then I came in-world tonight and found this set from [ARIA] and having had a long day and feeling slightly worn out I set to decorating this kitchen to relax and just leave my work day behind.  It’s called the Emmerich and can be found at the opening round of 6th Republic, a new decor and landscaping event that will have exclusive 100% original mesh in a theme selected for each round.  This month it is industrial and the modular kitchen set that [ARIA] has created comes in both PG and adult and as always it comes with texture change options for most parts.
