A cold winter night

I’m cold this afternoon with the temperatures being only in the 60s, which is probably warmth and sunshine weather for many of you who live in colder climate places. I know. I get it. I’m still cold. I’m not complaining though. I like this weather, but my body isn’t agreeing with me just yet and tells me different.

I’ve got another cold winter picture here featuring the outdoors to my post yesterday. The sunrise beachhouse by ChiC buildings is orginal mesh at 17.2 x 15.7 meters in size and a land impact of 86. It’s available at the Draftsman Event along with the path and patio stone walkway that are sold separately. The outside landscape is all by Little Branch, with the exception of the Christmas tree, which is a group gift the rest can be cound at this round of FaMESHed. The park bench is a recently released new item by [Schultz Bros.] and can be found at the main store. The blackboard is another piece of the items shown in yesterday’s post by Onedecor also at Draftsman.

Lets sit a while

One of the things that I knew would be different when I moved to the central part of the state of Florida, was that the weather would be much cooler come this time of year. It’s a welcome change even though it’s going to take some adjusting to and it means drinking more hot cocoa and tea.

Having a coziness outfit like this sweater and jeans combo from ArisAris/B&W is perfect for this kind of chilly weather. These are available at the current round of On9. You can also find these wrap bootie shoes that are from Garbaggio as well as the glasses from The Oak. The jewelry worn is by SPELL and it’s from their Gaya Gacha at The Chapter Four. I’m also showing the newest hairstyle by enVOGUE, called Mindy, which is available at the main store.

Today’s home decor is by a few creators. I’ll start with ancient yew globe, which is the rare item that’s part of the Gaya Gacha by SPELL at The Chapter Four. The windmill and all it’s furnishings are by [Schultz Bros.], and it’s just a few pieces of their Dam! Dollhouse Gacha at 6 Republic.

The oak book rack, commode and plant holder is from ChiC buildings and are available also at On9. The pose I’m using is from K&S Poses and it can be found at thier main store.

The coffee shop

Lazy weekends are starting to agree with me. I think it’s the cooler weather we’re having that just makes me want to snuggle under a blanket. It’s exactly what I’ve been doing too the last two hours; reclining on the sofa with a throw blanket and watching Christmas movies on the Hallmark channel.

If I had stayed no doubt I would have dozed off, but that would have meant ruining the start of getting my internal clock back on track. Instead I got up to come blog, because this brings me a little joy each day and because I’m thankful knowing how much it has helped me to stay focused and centered the last few months.

Today I’m showing a mixture of things. The first is a new hairstyle by eXxEsS, the Malina that is available in two color packs A and B, which is the difference of single and multi-tone colors. The necklace and top are by [WAZ] and are new releases at The Chapter Four. The top is available in various colors. The last item worn being featured are the shoes by ChicChica, a new release at the Liaison Collaborative. I’m wearing the noir color, but you will find it in 5 other colors and it’s mesh body compatible for the Belleza, Slink and Maitreya.

The decor that I’m featuring today is from a few creators. The rustic entryway piece in the corner is by [Schultz Bros.] and it’s only available through the purchase of this month’s Deco(c)rate, which works very similar to the Luxe Box. The ladder, artist sketchbook, paint containers and the pumpkin on the entryway decor is by [Merak], and it’s available at this round of The Liaison Collabrative. Coffee, tea or me?

The weekend went by too fast and already the week is starting off on a busy note, so my posts will be somewhat erratic to when I can find time to get it posted.

Today I am featuring a new hair release by eXxEsS called Mermelada, which translated means Jam. It’s rigged mesh, so you won’t be able to resize or move it. The newest hairs have the “breeze” technology, which animates the hair as you move around. I find this a really cool feature that gives you a bit of what I miss from the flexi hair days. The hair is available in two color packs A and B; the difference is that the A Pack has 56 single-tone colors and the B Pack has 56 multi-tone colors. The link takes you to the demo in market place, so try it out first.

I’m showing some new ugg style boots by Empire, available at Sad November. The Aconitum as they’re called, are 100% original mesh, come in 20 shoe colors via HUD that lets you change parts individually. They are made to fit the Belleza Freya, Venus, Isis, Slink Hourglass and Physique, Maitreya and The Mesh Project.

Most of the decor is from the newest gacha release by THOR for the new round of 6 Republic. The gacha set is called “Old Dirty Coffeeshop” and I’ve used all the pieces and have listed them below. The vintage slot machine is by [Schultz Bros.], that was recently released at Cosmopolitan, but should be available now at the store. I’m showing the brown version, but you’ll be able to find it in a few other colors as well.

The remaining item that I am featuring is the cute PeeWee Puffs in a tea cup by JIAN for The Gacha Garden. It’s a gacha set, so these are just a couple of the cuteness you can have by taking a chance at the gacha machines.

The peaceful days I look forward to

Happy Sunday afternoon as it’s gone past the noon hour here and I’ve done nothing much today other than sleep in and have a banana for breakfast, so a late lunch will be calling my name soon.

I wanted to get this post in before I start doing some chores around the house. Today I am featuring three creators and the first items I will mention are the so shabby set by THOR. The vintage DIY entryway and drawers and the red ride on toy are just great decor pieces. I think they called that ride on toy the speedster. These can be found at Shiny Shabby.

Schultz Bros. has released some new items that are available currently at Cosmopolitan. The green vintage cigarette machine can be clicked for a pack of cigarettes. The other items not shown are vintage slot machines. I’ll probably be showing them in another post soon.

The last item being featured is by unKindness, which is the pumpkin with the dog in it. It’s part of the gacha set for the Epiphany. There are 9 commons and 2 rares to the set.

Realize deeply that the present moment is all you ever have

Featuring a new release by [Schultz Bros.], which is this skybox that is available now at this new round of Cosmopolitan. It’s copy/mod with only a 7 land impact and its approximately 15 x 11m. Great if you are limited in prim and need something small. I’ve included a collage picture below of how it looks unfurnished.

The skybox is furnished with some new and old stuff. The bed, ottomans, clock and mirror along with the nightstand are items by Bee Designs and it’s from their French Rose gacha. It was from a previous event, but you should be able to find it at the store. The stuffed sheep near the stairs are also by Bee Designs, and are from this round of Lost & Found, but it ends tonight, so they should be available at the store. They are the cutest things and make great decor for anywhere in the house.

Here’s a close up of the dogs. The adult wanderer I’ve shown previously in a post and it’s the reward dog when you hit the JIAN machine at the Arcade 25 times. The family bed is a common and its texture change for both the dogs and the bed. It’s also only 1 land impact.

Piglet farm

When I first saw the barn, windmill and sprinkler items from [Schultz Bro.], there was no thought on how I would show them until I laid them out and thought of what animals to use in the picture. It just happened that this past Friday, a friend who lives in Tennessee, was transporting a pig she saved from the slaughter house to one of these facilities where they take care of pigs.

That’s how my piglet farm came to be. She doesn’t run a farm, but she has several acres and has a love of animals and was telling me that she needed to invest in a larger barn if she took in anymore animals. She already owns horses, birds, dogs and cats and no telling what else.

Now to what I am featuring today. Schultz Bros. has put together another fantastic realistic set of items that will be released at the upcoming round of Cosmopolitan that begins on August 15th. These items are not sold together as a set, they will be available individually. The homestead barn is realistically textured and detailed and it only has a land impact of 29 and the separate barn light is 1. The old windmill has a land impact of 10 and has female and male and unisex animations. The rusted sprinkler shown is the larger of all four pieces in this set of sprinklers. The land impact ranges from 2 to 13, which is shown here only partially.

Everything is 100% mesh with copy and mod permission. Truly fantastic pieces if you have a love of old stuff and the country life style.
