When I saw this set by Finishing Touches it brought back so many wonderful memories of a past family vacation when we stayed in a log cabin up in the smokey mountains. The storm isn’t quite over.

It’s been raining every other day it seems in my real world and today was no exception, so when I was going through the various wind lights trying to find one this one seemed to settle on me. The [Den] has released a new model called the Sundara Villa that is only 29 land impact. It has three large sections to the home and has some really nice design features like the columns in the front of the home to the shape of the windows and the lighted effects of the ceiling in each room. You can find this home at the current round of Uber.

Tomorrow hundreds will be storming the gates to the entrance of the Arcade. Though if you want a little less chaos then try FaMESHed, which opens up with a new round tomorrow too. [ARIA] has the Signe living set, which comes with a very comfortable sectional sofa, and some wonderful decor pieces. The sofa has up to six different upholstery colors and many patterns to choose from for the cushions and throw. This set can be found in PG and Adult and can be purchased as a set or individual pieces.

[ARIA] @ 6th Republic

I didn’t plan on doing a post today as I didn’t do much last night while in-world outside of walking the dark style fair and a sneak peek into 6th Republic. Normally, I take pictures during my time in the evening and blog first thing in the morning or every now and then later in the day when I have a free moment as often times I’ve already started the post with the picture and credits done. The only drawback to not posting in the morning is that then I’m at work and I don’t log into SL at work and while I can access the blog and post I don’t have access to my pictures to upload onto Flickr.

Then I came in-world tonight and found this set from [ARIA] and having had a long day and feeling slightly worn out I set to decorating this kitchen to relax and just leave my work day behind. It’s called the Emmerich and can be found at the opening round of 6th Republic, a new decor and landscaping event that will have exclusive 100% original mesh in a theme selected for each round. This month it is industrial and the modular kitchen set that [ARIA] has created comes in both PG and adult and as always it comes with texture change options for most parts.

The beauty of India.

I slept a good eight hours last night even if it was not very peaceful as evident by the massive headache I woke up to. I’m extremely tired today and it’s just morning.

I was playing with the idea of putting down a home again and started by placing out a couple that I got from the arcade this round. The homes are always lovely, but always tend to run too small for me personally as I find myself not able to maneuver around in them as easily. I know most can be edited and made larger though it means that the prim count will go up exceptionally higher.

This house called the Jodhpur was inspired by the crafts and culture of the Indian state of Rajasthan according to the creator’s remarks. Jodhpur being the second largest city in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The house and all the decor pieces are very detailed, and textures well done and you can’t help and enjoy the display of colors.

I didn’t settle on keeping this out, though I did enjoy decorating a room to snap a picture in this outfit I’m wearing.

I was in the mood a couple of nights ago to throw something together with some of my recent finds. Experimenting with lighting, a nice little tip that my friend Draco taught me. Though I had a heck of a time trying to get the bicycle wheels to show and not fade out as I drew the camera back to get a bigger size of the room. I had most of my settings as usual, so no idea what the issue was.

Despite the little bit of troubles I was rather pleased with the outcome and decided I would post it today.

P is for… (challenge)

Second Life was being difficult last night and after several attempts to try and get back in I just stopped. Apparently unscheduled maintenance was the cause of my frustration in those attempts. This morning I log and try to get the credits I needed to have been able to post this last night and wouldn’t you know it I get a restart within a few minutes of only looking away to check my email. I’m easily distracted like that. With no time to teleport away I’m off Second Life within seconds.

I just don’t have the patience or really the time to wait to be able to log back in, so I am going to do my very best to credit those items I don’t know offhand. Yesterday’s letter of the alphabet challenge was “P” and what better opportunity to feature these items from Poche. This is something I have been wanting to do for quite a while now, because this store is one of my favorite places not only because of their generosity in always giving away gifts in their store, but their reasonable prices for what they do charge so I always end up buying their stuff. The strawberry sweet tart and the flowers on the table are items that are currently at Seasons Story (I hope!) and for only 50L!. Actually on a quick check to the Seraphim blog, this is the right location. The other food is also from Poche and its a curry set and the breads are separate and also from Poche. You really ought to check out their cute cafe – one at the main store and another at a different location.

Today’s letter I will do later tonight hopefully and since it’s “Q” I think it will stand for a quiet moment.

Spring/Easter Decor

Taking a small break from the alphabet challenge to be able to show some of the Spring items that Aphrodite Shops has recently released. The picture above is a Spring tea garden set that has quite a lot to offer. It comes with twelve different tea blends and gives you the choice of several cakes and each of the chairs are animated with fourteen animations to give you not only a realistic and an interactive experience. I needed a quiet moment so I had cake all for myself, but no worries plenty left.

Aphrodite Shops also is making available this exclusive item for the new round of The Kollective, which is centered on a spring theme. The spring picnic buffet table offers eatable appetizers, which you receive on touch. Being a big cheese lover this is the kind of food I can always have around.

The last item I want to feature today is this Easter decorative set to decorate your home for the holiday. The vintage table comes with an eggs nest, braided bread, Easter bunny, daisy wreath and vase with flowers as well as the wall art frames. I must point out that the frames are actually lighter like the wood of the table, except they were pale against my wall so I added a bit of tint to bring them out in my picture.
