It’s a case of who caught who

I was working the midnight shift in SL Town where it wasn’t so uncommon to find your usual unsavory and nonconformist types. It happened so rapidly as I was cruising the streets that he suddenly appeared from the shadows of the side alley. I quickly swerved to avoid to hit this suspicious tattooed character who was dressed in some off white assemble. That one eye face mask with a bat full of nails hanging from his back was surely a sign he was up to no good.

Muttering under my breath as I braced myself for the eventual impact against the fire hydrant just to avoid to hit this loose cannon. I quickly got out of my vehicle with my nerves still intact and my hand firmly placed on my revolver as I moved to the other side to ensure that I hadn’t skimmed him with the patrol car.

He stood there erect and immovable, like a night predator watching his next victim approach. No outward sign of injury as I cautiously got near. There would be no need to call in my years of first aide training or to apply mouth to mouth resuscitation. Clears throat.

Even before I could speak he maneuvered around me and caught me. Maybe. Looks can be deceiving. I think this last picture tells that the story can go a few ways.

Some more fantastic winter landscape items for you today. Little Branch has these Alaskan trees at the 34th Street event that are season change and are in cluster or single. The winter picket fence is by unKindness and is available at this round of FaMESHed, available in several wood tones.

The Victorian gazebo is by DaD Designs and is at the LTD Event. I am picturing the full version that is decorated with Christmas decor, snow, flowerpots and plants, but can be found in an empty version as well as a flowerpots and plants version. The final item featured are the lighted pyramid trees by [CIRCA], which are advent items at the store.

The dress I am wearing is not detailed here, but can be found on my fantasy wardrobe blog later after I get done with this post. I didn’t care much for the close up picture and found it wasn’t giving it proper presentation so I am featuring it on its own.

Sometimes I have so much to say and other days like now I sit here waiting for the words to flow and nothing comes out. It’s not like my mind is totally blank. In fact my mind is racing with too many thoughts floating around in there… like what do I need to get done today to where did this year go? It will be dad’s birthday in a few days and I’m no longer near to take flowers to his grave site.

Then there is a ping beside me letting me know there is a text on my phone and a good reminder to get out of my thoughts.

Every space reminds me of you in some way

I really planned to get this post done last night except I couldn’t get organized or focused enough to put my words together. Today isn’t any better as I’m feeling a bit scattered and my mind is racing.

Life gets interesting like that sometimes. I’m sure that I’m not the only one whose had days like this.

Today I’m featuring a few things and the first is this lounge set by [ARIA], that is currently at the newest round of FaMESHed. The Libera set comes with two lounge chairs with texture change options for the fabric and wood and the other for the cushion and throw as well. The table also has texture change option and the flower too. It’s a nice set for a corner or for use with just individual pieces.

The other items that I am featuring are from [CIRCA], which are the Berry Mix Autumn wreath. I like hanging wreaths in the home, especially during the holidays. To me it gives a feeling of warmth and brings that festive feeling into the home. The area rugs are also from the same designer. The beige is from the “Into the Forest” set that [CIRCA] has for the Autumn season and the rust is part of the “Harmony” set, that is a gift at the store for $1 linden. I’ll be showing some more great Autumn stuff from this store in the next days.

The rest of the items are not new just well liked stuff that I keep in my inventory. Considering my inventory is once again bulging I kind of like a lot of things!

I knew who I was this morning, but I’ve changed a few times since then

There is a saying that your soul is healed by being with children. I can attest to that having been around children for the most part in the last twenty plus years. Last night I was watching a one minute video of my nephew’s five month old son as he grabbed both of his feet in his hands and then proceeded to raise his right foot directly into his mouth. It gave me a good chuckle as it brought back memories of my nephew, the baby’s father, having done the same thing when he was at his age. The laughter and the good memory was medicine to the soul.

It makes me reflect on the times when I take off the shield of my adult persona and get into the small size jumping bag of beans of little me and I realize how quickly the mood alters. It’s subtle and yet there is like an automatic shift in my atmosphere as I wiggle around in the small shape.

My soul needed a little healing, so thank you Buglets for this lil witch costume to feature. The set is available at The Play Room that opens today. It is a gacha set that includes 8 commons: hat, top, skirt, tights, flats, bucket, bracelet and flying broom and 1 rare – the cauldron with four poses.

I’m also featuring the little Halloween hair clip by Buglets that can be found at this month’s round of Hello Beautiful. It comes with a texture change HUD for the bow and pumpkin.
