Hello.. it’s me she said

My 83 year old grandmother has come for a 2-week visit and she’s got more energy than I do sometimes. I had just enough time to get my picture posted on Flickr earlier in the day, but no time to get the post done as she asked me to take her into town after we had already had a busy morning.

Now several hours later and now early evening I can finally sit for a moment to write the credits and get it posted. One of the items that I am featuring are these gorgeous boots by N-Core. They are made to fit the Maitreya, Belleza, Slink and TMP and currently available at FaMESHed.

The other item that I’m showcasing is the pose by K&S Poses. I’ve used this pose before on another picture (Happy Halloween post) at a slightly different angle and on a sofa chair. Just goes to show you how great these poses are for different looks.

The Cranmore

I mentioned in my blog post yesterday that today I would be featuring a new home. So today I bring you The Cranmore by creator Cain Maven. If you’ve been around Second Life for a while you’re probably already familiar with his homes under his brands Maven Homes and also Quantum Luxury Homes.

Both brands offer you high quality homes in various styles in a wide range of prices. Though having just recently toured one of the previous new releases, the “Roma” home, beautiful large luxury home is almost too simple to describe the beauty and magnificence in size and looks of that particular home.

The Cranmore is way smaller in comparison, but it’s also not a small home either at a size of 32 m x 35 m. It’s a bit of a mixed brick style build as you get a bit of a renovated barn with an industrial rustic feel with a touch of modernness. What I especially liked immediately upon entering the home was the sense of not feeling like I was boxed in. I think that’s attributed to the openness, large picture windows and the high ceilings, which is something you don’t find a lot these days.

The rooms in the house include a bedroom, bathroom, front room, a kitchen with a dining/living room space and attic. The kitchen and bathroom decor is removable. I had a little fun decorating the kitchen with old and new items. The kitchen as mentioned is an open plan where you have the dining room and another living room space. The picture below shows the other side of the kitchen as you enter it through the open barn doors.

You can see the attic space in the picture above that gives you another level to put in another bedroom, office or another sitting area. Plus you can see what I mean about the openness and high ceilings.

Above is the bathroom and the next picture is the bedroom. Just take a look at the realistic detail of the materials used.

In the second picture you saw the home from the back and you see the big window just behind the green loungers, which are another collaboration by Shutter Field and Decor Junction and are available currently at Tres Chic.

If you click the window or the wheel on the wall, you will see the wheel begin to spin as the window opens, giving you this wonderful view out or whatever view you may have once positioned. You can see my hands there as I am taking a breather enjoying the night hours and the flock of birds. Now most species of birds rest during the night as I came to read, though there are some birds like for instance some sparrows that fly at night during migration periods. I think it was one of those periods.

I took a hiatus for a day to get some fantasy posts done on my Alexa’s Fantasy Wardrobe Blog, but I’m back again today to show you some more awesome decor.

The first is this new release that is an exclusive for the SwagBag Event tailored for men. This is a themed crate event, similar to Luxe Box, where the crate is delivered on the 1st of each month with fifteen unique items that are made exclusively for this event. If you miss grabbing the crate during the open period, you will only be able to purchase those particular items as a previous Swagbag at twice the price the month after its release. Below credits I’ve put some additional information that the creator has provided on this set that is included in your delivery box with purchase.

Next I’m featuring another fantastic collection by JIAN. This time they brings us raccoons, which are fantastically detailed. Man Cave Set ~
The fridge is an object/landmark/notecard giver, so, just put inside what you want FULL PERM, and by clicking on, all can have it (inside there is some example to wear…yeah…BEERS! cheers^^).

The lamp have a notecard inside (editable) where you can set your preferred light/glow/color etc (very simple to use, just open it and edit), or, if you want, just hold click on for 5 seconds, and a menu appear (just when you turn off the lights, all come back to the old setting about the notecard).

The guitar, is a little jukebox, have inside 4 fine high detailed guitar songs, just click on it and choose your, or if you prefer, just put inside your own splitted music (as usual for objects that have sounds/music).

Thank goodness for early voting where you can bypass the lenghty lines and the boisterous crowds to cast your vote before election day. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes, which was a quarter of what I thought that it would take. The place was busy, but running so smoothly that it took no effort to get through the line.

Now I can sit back, blog and relax for an hour before the dinner hour. Today I am featuring some more items at the Geeks & Nerds Event, which is ongoing for a few more days until Nov. 5th.

It’s like ten minutes before it strikes midnight and officially the next day and it’s Halloween. I wanted to get this post in earlier just in case you wanted some last minute party and decor goods, then I’m featuring some cake, drinks and cupcake goodies by Una. These are gacha items and available at Shiny Shabby.

The decor is by Dreamscapes Art Gallery. The chairs, picture and candelabra are items for the Black Widow 2 Hunt that started today. The boo ladder is this month’s group gift, which can be joined for a relatively small fee of $50. The dog is so cute, and it’s another common dog in the Hallow-Inu gacha set by JIAN at The Epiphany.

I’m also featuring items that I am wearing, starting with the skirt by Reverie, which is at Uber. The military/chic skirt comes in 8 colors, plus 2 bonus colors on the fatpack and 1 on the smaller packs. The boots that I am wearing are by Empire, and they are also at Uber’s. They are 100% original mesh, with 20 colors included and you can change parts individually. It’s fitted mesh for the Belleza Freya, Belleza Venus, Belleza Isis, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, Maitreya, The Mesh Project and also Slink Male.

The last item being featured is the pose that I am using. I’ve been a big fan of this store for a while as they make some cute poses for you and a little one. The set I am using this #18 poseis called Katya. I was able to fix it so that I could lean against the chair and only had to make a slight modification to raise my left knee/foot up. The peaceful days I look forward to

Happy Sunday afternoon as it’s gone past the noon hour here and I’ve done nothing much today other than sleep in and have a banana for breakfast, so a late lunch will be calling my name soon.

I wanted to get this post in before I start doing some chores around the house. Today I am featuring three creators and the first items I will mention are the so shabby set by THOR. The vintage DIY entryway and drawers and the red ride on toy are just great decor pieces. I think they called that ride on toy the speedster. These can be found at Shiny Shabby.

Schultz Bros. has released some new items that are available currently at Cosmopolitan. The green vintage cigarette machine can be clicked for a pack of cigarettes. The other items not shown are vintage slot machines. I’ll probably be showing them in another post soon.

The last item being featured is by unKindness, which is the pumpkin with the dog in it. It’s part of the gacha set for the Epiphany. There are 9 commons and 2 rares to the set.

Can’t Take My Eyes Off You

Happy Friday!

Today I’m featuring stuff by Empire and The Den in collaboration with Ariskea. The shoes are from Empire and available now at the Geeks & Nerds Event. Like with all their shoes the Hydrangea shoes are 100% original mesh and 2o colors are included via a HUD with the ability to change parts individually. They are rigged mesh made for the Belleza Freya, Belleza Venus, Belleza Isis, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, Maitreya and The Mesh Project.

The furniture set made up of the couch, chairs along with the chest table and balls decor with the hourglass and clock, lamp, postal frame and letter decor are a collaboration by the creators mentioned. It’s a lovely set that fits all year long, the sofa is available in both a pg and adult version.

You can find it at Uber. The rest of the close up pictures you will note were without any processing other than some light blurring, just to give you a better view of all the pieces in the set.
