During the weekends from time to time depending on what her volunteer schedule is or whether it’s time to do laundry, my niece, who is at university comes home. This Sunday after dinner we all sort of just stuck around chatting before she had to leave. She was playing with her phone and she popped up saying lets see who knows the lyrics to this song, so there we were all three generation of women trying to pick our brains to recall this song.

The song was “Dreaming of You” by former songwriter and singer, Selena Quintanilla, who just celebrated a birthday on April 16th. This is the reason her song was being featured in this trivia over the weekend.  I sort of forgot already what our score was, though we got more than half right.

This picture was taken over a week ago and not taken for blogging purposes, so no credits are being posted.  I took a night off from trying to set up a blogging scene and ventured out on the grid instead.

First, thanks to everyone who sent me a kind word regarding the passing of an extended family member.  I didn’t write anything here, but briefly mentioned it in my other blog and I know some of you follow both blogs and were kind enough to say something.

One of the fantasy groups I blog for asked for a blogger review on a new item and since it’s furniture I am choosing to blog it here.   Folklorica is a store that caters to the role-play enthusiasts in Second Life and this Gypsy Vardo and Kataii Medicine Wagon is their newest creation.

It has been designed to serve as a multipurpose use for either medieval, gorean role-play or even serve as your home or whatever use you may have.  The set is mesh and everything inside has been designed with the idea of it being used for role-play.

Both the table and chairs and the bed include quality animations to make your role play scenes as realistic as possible.  The bed includes adult animations by Kabuki, and described by the creator as beautifully animated and evocative. It can be used by just touching the furniture  to get the menu selection.

It’s going to be a lazy one for sure, but without sun as I had enough of that yesterday.  It was scorching hot at 84°F and with humidity it always makes it feel even worse and I wasn’t exactly dressed for the weather.

Today I am featuring what lil me is wearing and posing with.  The cute lemon tankinis by Buglets is currently at this months round of The Play Room.  It’s a gacha item, there are six common colors for the tankinis and six common colors for the sandals.  There is one rare, which is a texture change parasol that will match the color of your outfit.  It’s not the one that I’m showing as this one belongs to the pose also by Buglets.  It’s the Dance in The Rain gacha pose set available now at the main store.

I’m wearing a new tattoo by Endless Pain, available at 50 Shades of Lust event that opened today and will run until May 6th.

Featuring also this summer dock by unKindness that comes with single and couple animations and two versions of the dock, with and without rotation animations. It can be found at the LTD The Event.

This is a quick post as I have just enough time before I have to go out the door this morning.  I’m showing this lovely morning glory spring set by [CIRCA], currently available as a gacha set at the Dreams Gacha Fair.  I listed all the pieces used in the picture, but there is a few more pieces that complete the set. The sit pose I am using is not from the ottoman, but it is actually a pose by [evoLove], which is available at the newest round of GENRE.

I’m also featuring some landscape items by Little Branch.  The wild grass and the white cherry blossom trees available now at the current round of the LTD The Event.

All these spring colors are sure to brighten up your days.  If the spring colors don’t do it, check out this adorable English bulldog.  He is cute, isn’t he?  I’ve yet to name him, but I think that I have a perfect name in mind.

I hope it’s a good day so far for everyone considering it’s Friday and for most it means the work week is over.  I’m feeling a tad worn out and I have no one to blame other than myself as I’ve been pushing the envelope lately getting to bed at a very late hour.

Though I’ve had lots on my mind making it a bit stressful to sleep, but yesterday marked a week that I made a decision that in all sincerity was a bit difficult to make and yet quite necessary for me.  It’s also why I’ve been a little quiet on both my blogs just posting credits most days as I’ve been in a rather reflective mode needing time to clear my head without trying to rationalize anything with my thoughts out loud or rationalize period.

Anyways, it’s a new day and with it comes a renewed sense of purpose so let me share with you what I am showing.  Aphrodite Shops has this Botanical Corner set up, which comes ready just for you to rez in place.  Everything inside this open frame small build is part of the set.

The other item being featured is the May Flower fence set by unKindness.  The set comes complete with different pieces for you to assemble the fence to your liking.  If you look closer you can see the flower cutout in the middle of the fence.  It’s available in different wood tones.

This Cottage comes included with two staircases and two large terraces. Inside includes a spacious living room, a kitchen, a study and a bedroom. With a staircase leading upstairs to the second level where the second living room is located with a corridor leading to the bedroom. In the bedroom there is another balcony with great view of the front.

“Sweet Dreams Cottage” is available in two versions: first version with high perfect pillars to be placed on the water; the second version is a single flight of stairs replacing the high pillars which sits perfectly on the ground.

I had planned to blog these adorable bunnies with little me, except I had to reprimand her for going off to an adult sim on her own.  She gets my independent spirit and her degenerate behaviors from… well that’s another tale for another day.

The bunny family are the latest creation by Jian, and they are available at the just opened The Season’s Story.  There are different versions as seen in the picture and just with a click you can grab the menu to change the texture of the bunnies.

As I might have mentioned before taking pictures and blogging is just a relaxing hobby for me.  It’s another form of artistic creativity for me and art has been a part of my life since I was a child.  The earliest memory of winning an art competition is when I was 7-8 years old and in third grade and I won my first prize for drawing the inside of a mouth.  I just made the Jian group cover yesterday for my post with little me.

It’s a nice recognition, so I created a new page tabbed Features to sort of help me keep track of these things.  I don’t really participate in many photo contests or do any private work, but it may be something that I might enjoy doing in the future.

When I got these adorable pups collection from Jian, it was inevitable that I would bring out little me.  It sort of worked out as I was looking to blog this cute dress from Buglets, which is out now at Lucky 7, a children’s event.

You might remember that two weeks ago I mentioned that I was going to cut out doing posts with little me.  I did in fact drop every commitment I had for blogging items made for the toddleedoo.  It was a good decision for me even if I truly did and do enjoy doing posts with little me.  One of the first creators that ever entrusted me with their creations when I started out on this journey to blog for the toddleedoo was Buglets.  Even with understanding that I will not be posting as regularly, she has been generous enough to let me continue as one of her bloggers as my time permits.

So today I am also featuring the pup collection by Jian, which will be available starting April 12th at the Epiphany.  This event is a bit different, just like Gacha Guardians, so please visit the Epiphany web-site where you can learn all about the event and how to play.  The collection consists of  15 prizes to take your chance on. There are various kinds of pups to win – the wandering, companion and the held version.

Also featuring the pastel pathway by Dysfuntionality, which is a group gift.  I’m showing only the short piece, but the collection comes with various pieces for you to design your own pathway as needed.  There is another version with natural wood colors that can also be found at the main store, out today for Lazy Sunday.

I’ll be showing some bunnies next and I’m thinking little me may come out and play again soon.
