Front porch therapy
There is something about country life that appeals greatly to me and the idea of a porch with rocking chairs makes it even more inviting. I have a close friend that lives in Tennessee and she sends me some spectacular shots that she takes of her pasture usually from where ever she’s sitting feeding her donkeys.
That’s one of the great things about Second Life. You can create whatever home life you want. Today I am featuring these rocking chairs by Mistique, which are available in three versions based on the design and color of the fabric of the throw blanket. Each chair comes with a few single animations only.
I had planned to show the chairs in a different setting until I opened up the latest items from unKindness and found this Shabby Cottage, which was perfect. The cottage is part of their spring gacha set at Gacha Guardians and is the rare item in the set. I’m not doing it justice by showing only a small part of it, but I hope to do another post featuring the gacha set in a few days. Though it’s a lovely cottage with plenty of space inside.

Reflections of a yesterday
Even if I didn’t realize it as I was setting up the scene and choose this pose in the chair, it certainly reflects the downhearted mood that I found myself in last night. Don’t you hate it when your emotions become the battlefield. I certainly do and yet the vulnerability makes me a bit more determined to overcome what I’m struggling with. The struggle then becomes that between the stubborn self that wants to get to a place where I could care less… and the sensitive side that gets in the way.
Oh well.. the cats were good company in the meantime. These are the two rares in the Floofy Felines gacha by Jian at the Gacha Guardians Event. The collection includes 16 commons that come in two versions, the head clinger and the hold me kind. There are two rares, which are shown. On click you can change the texture of the collar and coat of the cat. There is a gift that can be received if you play the same machine ten times and Jian’s gift is the fancy feaster, which is a kitty with its bowl of food and animated water. Now there is a method to playing the gachas at this event, and so check out the Gacha Guardians website to learn how to play.
I’m also featuring this tree with chair by Fantavatar & Moonstruck, currently available at Fair Play. It’s a nice decor piece that you can place somewhere in your yard to spend some alone time. It comes with eight sitting animations.

Happy Little Easter
A friend wished me Happy Little Easter as we parted this evening and I found it a little strange considering today was Easter. Knowing they were tired I thought maybe they forgot what the day was. It happens right? I can’t be the only one that gets some days mixed up?
Anyways, after telling me what it meant and we parted ways the term kept nagging at me as if I should know it. Well trust my friend google to know the answer. Little Easter also known for many other people as Easter Monday is an official holiday in many countries and is part of the Easter period. Here in America this is not a holiday and there is no observation other than some traditional festivities on the lawn of the White House. Though after reading about it I realized that I’ve read on this observed holiday in the past, but I sure didn’t recall it just then.
Yep, it’s gonna be a normal Monday for us here, but Happy Little Easter to any and all who celebrate the day after Easter.

Riding in the fast lane
Happy Easter!!
I’m bursting at the seams having just finished a huge breakfast and feeling a slight buzz from drinking one glass of sangria. That stuff is pretty lethal! Or maybe my niece slipped in a little more wine than required. I don’t know. I’m feeling it!
I am showing some pictures I took last night on my bike. I had a great evening, with somewhat of an eerie effect to it. It dawned on me after I got in bed that the time had passed so swiftly and yet as I lay there I had a feeling of being at peace. I can’t attribute it to anything I did last night, other than I slipped off into my own little world without a care and was just doing things automatically.
After getting severely beaten the other night I thought to get in a little practice. I can’t seem to focus lately, and last night was no better. I did a few runs on my own at first until someone showed up and gave me a reason to push a little harder. I won the runs, except it didn’t feel victorious as they were new and still getting accustomed to riding the bike. Though after that I got easily distracted with wanting to grab a picture of myself.
I know. I’m so vain like that.
